Bei Verwendung von losen, zweiteiligen Muffen, die um ein Rohr zusammengespannt werden sollen, kann der Dichtungsring auch aus zwei Teilen bestehen. Wie bei ungeteil ten Muffen können auch bei geteilten Muffen die zwei Muffenhälften mit je einer Dich tungshälfte versehen sein, welche in die Muf- fenhälfte eingegossen oder eingepresst wer den, so ;
method for producing a hoof connection and a hoof connection produced by the method. In the previously common type of manufacture of socket connections, you first bring the socket and the pipe to be connected with this in the correct position in relation to each other, after which you can use the up processing material, eg. B. lead or asphalt, through which the connection is made, a leads or pours. In many cases, this method can lead to significant nuisances in that it is often difficult to make pouring.
Furthermore, this pouring becomes difficult when it comes to socket connections in which the axis of the socket is not perpendicular or approaching perpendicular, but rather approaches the horizontal.
According to the method according to the inven tion, a socket connection is now produced there, that a sealing ring is introduced into the socket, which consists of a material that is solid at normal temperature, but plastic or plastic when heated relatively weakly. becomes liquid, and that the sleeve provided with the sealing ring is assembled with the pipe part to be connected to it, whereupon the material of the sealing ring is heated,
so that it is plastic or becomes liquid and sticks to the pipe end to be connected and the socket.
The introduction of the sealing ring into the sleeve can be done in the factory, for example, by pressing or pouring the sealing ring. However, the sealing ring can also be supplied by itself and inserted loosely into the socket on the construction site.
When using loose, two-part sleeves that are to be clamped together around a pipe, the sealing ring can also consist of two parts. As with undivided sleeves, the two sleeve halves can each be provided with a seal half, which is cast or pressed into the sleeve half, see above;
that the two sleeve halves can be clamped together directly. The sealing ring can be made of a b-shaped material, e.g. B. asphalt, are Herge, which optionally powdered or granular organic or organic substances are added.
The method according to the invention can be used in many different socket connections, e.g. B. when connecting glazed clay pipes, cloaca pipes, cast pipes, manholes for collapse sockets, S-S-MuffenTöhren when connecting water closet shells, etc. Fer ner can be used for seals of pipe penetrations, z. B. through the ceiling of floors, both from cold water, as well as from hot water and central heating pipes.
The method according to the invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example, with all figures showing socket connections in which the sealing material has not yet been made plastic or liquid by heating.
Fig.1 is a section through a socket connection of two tubes; FIG. 2 shows a section through a pipe leadthrough through a ceiling separating two floors, FIG. 3 shows a plan view of FIG. 2 and FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of a pipe leadthrough.
In Fig. 1, 1 denotes a pipe which is to be connected to a pipe 2 provided with a socket 3 socket. In the sleeve 3 is a sealing ring 4, for. B. from sleeves asphalt, attached, which ring was either cast or pressed into the socket pipe in the factory and delivered with the ring 4, or was loosely introduced into the sleeve immediately before the introduction of the pipe 1. The ring 4 has an inner diameter which is the same as the outer diameter of the tube 1 or only slightly larger.
The ring can also be adapted to the tube 1 so that it rests firmly on the last rem. When the pipe 1 is brought into place in the socket 3 (Fig. 1), the socket is heated, e.g. B. by means of a blowtorch, whereby the ring 4 so far pla stically BEZW. becomes liquid that it sticks to the pipe 1 and the sleeve 3, so that after the subsequent cooling, a firm and tight connection between the pipes 1 and 2 is achieved.
As is known, for example, central heating tubes or other tubes that are exposed to larger temperature fluctuations are guided through the ceilings between floors in such a way that outer tubes are attached to these, which have an inner diameter that is arbitrarily larger than the outer diameter of the duct, so that the duct can move freely with the expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes.
The lack of harmful insects, such as bedbugs, cockroaches and the like, can penetrate from one floor to the other along the stimulus pipes through the clearance between these and the outer pipes. In addition, noises such as noise are easily transmitted from one floor to the other.
To eliminate these inconveniences, various sealing devices have been proposed, through which a waterproofing device is obtained between the duct and the ceiling between the floors. The previously proposed sealing devices are not entirely satisfactory, however, in that they are either very complicated or do not offer complete security for an actual and permanent seal.
In F.ig. 2 and 3 shows a tube duct through a ceiling between two floors, with 5 denoting a heating pipe which passes through the ceiling 6. In the water ceiling an outer tube 7 is attached, between which and the tube 5 a game space 8 is available to move freely. to ensure movement of the tube 5 in the event of temperature fluctuations.
A sleeve 9 is attached to the pipe 5 under the cover 6, which according to FIG. 3 consists of two halves, each of which is seen with one half of a two-part sealing ring 10 made of bitumen or the like. In the lower part 11 of the sleeve 9 is a groove 12 for the attachment of a suitable packing material, e.g. B. a lead ring, is provided, which is brought to a tight position against the pipe 5 when the two halves of the sleeve are clamped together around the pipe, which is done by means of the clamping bracket 14 with screw 15.
If so, the two sleeve halves, as in Fig. 2, are attached, so that the bitumen half-rings 10 close the outer pipe 7 and are clamped in this position by means of the clamping bracket 14, the sleeve 9 can be heated with a blowtorch or the like so that the asphalt or the like. plastic or becomes liquid and sticks to the outer pipe 7 and the sleeve 9, where a tight connection is created. If that.
If pipe 5 is a central heating pipe, the heat of the liquid flowing through it will suffice to make the sealing ring so plastic after a short time that the sealing material sticks tightly to both the socket wall and the pipe wall, so that a special external heating is not necessary. Furthermore, what is achieved is that the pipe 5 can move within certain limits which are necessary with regard to the temperature fluctuations that take place.
When using a sealing ring made of asphalt or bitumen, there is no risk of the sealing material seeping out along the pipe 7 or - in the case of a split socket - through the abutting surfaces of the socket halves, as is the case with seals, for example with liquid lead, in that the asphalt or bitumen is solid at the usual temperature and does not become liquid with the heating present here, but only plastic to the extent necessary to allow sufficient movement between the outer pipe and the duct with the sleeve firmly clamped to it.
In the case of already existing central heating systems, it is possible that the sleeve shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 cannot be used without further ado, in that the outer pipe 7 does not or only slightly protrudes from the ceiling below. You can then use a United extension piece, for example as shown in FIG. Here, as in FIGS. 2 and 3, 6 denotes the ceiling, 5 the lead-through pipe and 7 the outer pipe. In the lower end of the same is: a tubular extension piece 16 wedged tightly, which is provided with a flange 17 with packing 18 for sealing.
The pipe section 16 consists of two halves that abut closely at 19 and clamped together for example by binding wire who is attached to grooves 20 and tightened. The sleeve 9 is then attached to the pipe 5 as in the embodiment according to FIGS. 2 and 3, the lower end of the extension piece 1-6 taking the place of the end of the pipe 7 in FIG.
The device according to FIG. 4 is, as he mentioned, only intended for use in existing heating systems, while in all new systems, the significantly simpler Ausfüh shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 can be used approximately.
