Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Farbstoffes  der     Anthrachinonreihe,    welches dadurch ge  kennzeichnet ist,     dass    man     1-jodanthracIii-          r:on-2-sulfosaures    Kalium mit     3,4-Diamino-          benzoesäure-äthylester    kondensiert.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    14 Gewichtsteile     1-jodanthrachinon-2-          sulfosaures    Kalium, 7     Gewichtsteile    3,4  Diaminobenzoesäure-äthylester, 4 Gewichts  teile Soda und 0,5 Gewichtsteile     Kupfer-          ehlorür    werden in 120 Gewichtsteilen Was  ser bei 40 bis 60   so lange     gerührt,        bis        sich     der entstehende Farbstoff in kleinen dunk  len Kristallen ausgeschieden hat. Man saugt  ab und reinigt den Farbstoff gegebenenfalls  durch     Umkristallisieren    aus Wasser. Das  Produkt färbt Wolle und Seide in braunen  Tönen.

Der so erhältliche Farbstoff lässt sich aus Wasser umkristallisieren und färbt Wolle und Seide in braunen Tönen.
