Wechselstrom-Elektromagnet.
Im untern Teil des Ankers 5 sind zwei Bolzen 11 befestigt, die eine sauf ,der Aussen seite des Ankers angeordnete Platte 12 lose durchsetzen. Eine zweite Platte 13 ist mit den Bolzen 11 fest verbunden und zwis-ohen beiden Platten ist eine Schraübenfeder 14 angeordnet;
Diese zusätzliche Spannung ,hat ebenso, wie diejenige der Feder 6, das Bestreben, den Anker vom Kern zu entfernen. Da das Kleben des Ankers am Kern 'durch die Schicht 10 verlhindert wird, so erfolgt bei Unterbrechung des Spulen stromes durch die Wirkung der beiden Federn 6 und 14 eine momentane Zurück- führung des Ankers in seine Offenstellung. Die Spannung der Feder 14 kann dadurch geregelt werden, da.ss man ;
The alternating current electromagnets, such as those used for electric. Contactors, relays, etc. are used, Lich had the disadvantage of being very noisy to work.
It was then found that this disadvantage could be eliminated by attaching a so-called short-circuit ring to the end face of the coil core facing the armature, which, for example, was sunk into a groove in the core, the one from the short-circuit ring enclosed core part was connected with the rest of the core.
The arrangement of the short-circuit ring actually eliminated the rattling of the armature when it was pulled out. Another drawback remained, however, namely the sticking of the armature to the core after the excitation current was interrupted.
In the magnet according to the invention, this disadvantage is eliminated in that the core part enclosed by the short-circuit ring is separated from the rest of the core by a non-magnetic layer interposed between the said core part and the rest of the core.
An embodiment of the subject invention illustrates schematically the accompanying drawing.
Fig. 1 is a side view of the electro magnet; Fig. \ 2 and 3 represent on a larger scale in front view #bezw. is a detail on average.
The alternating current electromagnet shown has the coil divided into two parts 1 and 2 which are insulated from one another and whose parts can be connected in parallel or in series as required. The yoke is an angle piece 3 on which a plate 4 made of non-magnetizable material, e.g. B. made of brass -is arranged.
The armature 5 is swingably supported on this plate 4. He is under the action of a spring 6, which seeks to keep him in the open position shown in FIG. The end face of the coil core 7 located in the area of the armature 5 is slightly convex. The short-circuit ring 8 is inserted into the same.
The core part 9 enclosed by the short circuit 18 is separated from the core 7 and a non-magnetic layer 10 is inserted between the latter and the core part 9, which can consist of air, an asbestos or cardboard plate, etc., for example.
It has been shown that the application of this layer 10 prevents the armature from sticking to the core after the coil current has been interrupted.
In the lower part of the armature 5, two bolts 11 are fastened, which loosely enforce a plate 12 arranged on the outside of the armature. A second plate 13 is firmly connected to the bolts 11 and a helical spring 14 is arranged between the two plates;
the latter is pushed onto a pin 15 which loosely penetrates the plate 13, is threaded into the plate 12 and in turn loosely penetrates the armature 5, so that one end of the pin 15 in the open position shown in FIG. 1. protrudes through the anchor and is located in the area of the core 7.
At the other end of the pin 15 a disc 17 provided with recesses 16 on the edge is firmly seated. In the open position of the armature, the free ends of the bolt 11 are inserted into two diametrically opposite recesses in the washer 17. If, the anchor, 5 is tightened, then it attaches itself to the apex of the convex core surface, while that through. the anchor penetrating end of the pin meets the edge of the core.
As a result, the pin 15 is pushed ver in the sense of the arrow in FIG. As a result, the spring 14 is compressed between the plates 12 and 13, and thus receives an additional tension to that of the spring -6.
This additional tension, like that of the spring 6, tends to remove the armature from the core. Since the sticking of the armature to the core is prevented by the layer 10, when the coil current is interrupted, the action of the two springs 6 and 14 causes the armature to be momentarily returned to its open position. The tension of the spring 14 can be regulated in that one;
moves the disk 17 together with the pin 15 in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 1 until it disengages from the bolt 11 and then rotates it in one sense or the other. Then the disk 17 is brought back into engagement with the bolt 11.
The electromagnet could also be designed as a diving magnet.
