Elektromagnetisches Relais.

Fig. 2 zeigt diese Ausführungsform.

Electromagnetic relay.
The subject of the invention is a relay which can selectively actuate one or the other of two different spring assemblies so that two different functions can be performed with the relay.
Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the relay, on the basis of which the mode of operation is explained.
The yoke of a relay coil Sp carries two independent armatures A 1 and A 2, which act on two different spring assemblies P 1 and P 2. The armatures are magnetized in such a way that the north pole of one armature and the south pole of the other armature are opposite the pole piece of the relay coil.
If current is sent to the coil and the core is magnetized, the pole piece of the core becomes a south pole or a north pole, depending on the direction of the current. In the first case, in the present example, the armature jljf, whose north pole is opposite the pole piece, is attracted, while the second armature, which is polarized in opposite directions, remains at rest. It will therefore

and its spring package P 2 is actuated.
This relay can therefore be used to carry out two different hold functions, in which the current is sent into the coil in one direction and then in the other. Of course, the invention allows the most varied of embodiments and the anchors can be arranged in the most varied of ways. Instead of designing the armatures themselves as magnets, two small magnets can be attached to the pole piece, in whose fields the armatures are located, which are also polarized in opposite directions when the magnets are in the same direction. Fig. 2 shows this embodiment.
The invention allows a further embodiment in this way; that one anchor is polarized, the other is unpolarized. If the current is now sent in a certain direction into the coil, u. zw. In such a way that the polarized armature does not respond, only the unpolarized armature attracts and operates its spring assemblies. If the current is sent through in the opposite direction, both the polarized and the unpolarized armature attract and both spring assemblies are actuated.
