Briquet. L'objet de la présente invention est un briquet, comprenant une mèche et un couver cle mobile portant un capuchon destiné, lors qu'on referme le couvercle, à recouvrir le bout de la mèche. Ce briquet est caractérisé en ce que le capuchon coulisse librement dans une glissière et porte, montée sur lui de fa çon amovible et placée à l'extérieur de la glissière, une pièce qui s'étend au-dessus et sur le côté de la glissière et qui empêche le capuchon de sortir de celle-ci tout en le gui dant dans ses mouvements.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du briquet faisant l'objet de la présente invention.

Le briquet représenté comprend, d'une part, un socle 1 sur lequel sont montées une mèche 2 engagée dans un trou 3, une mollette 4 et une pierre pyrophorique disposée dans un carter 5 et, d'autre part, un couvercle 6 monté à charnière sur le socle 1 et qui, lors qu'il s'ouvre, actionne, par un dispositif qui ne sera pas décrit plus en détail, la molette, laquelle envoie des étincelles sur la mèche.
Dans le couvercle est monté un capuchon 7 qui, lorsqu'on referme le couvercle, vient coiffer la mèche et éteindre la flamme. Ce capuchon peut coulisser avec jeu dans une glissière 8 fixée au couvercle, et ayant, en section droite, la forme d'un U dont les ex trémités des branches 9 sont recourbées vers l'intérieur et entaillées circulairement;
le capuchon 7 coulisse entre ces branches et dans un trou 10 pratiqué dans le fond de la pièce en<B>U;</B> il comprend un prolongement cy lindrique 11 (fig. 4a) qui fait saillie hors de ce fond et qui présente, à l'extérieur de celui- ci, une rainure circulaire<B>12;</B> le bout libre de ce prolongement est creusé d'un évide- ment cylindrique 13, dans lequel est engagée l'une des extrémités d'un ressort à boudin 14, dont l'autre extrémité appuie contre le fond du couvercle; 15 (fig. 5 et 5a) est une pièce formée d'une embase 16 et de deux bras élas tiques 17 recourbés à angle droit par rapport à l'embase;
ces deux bras, engagés à frotte ment dur dans la rainure 12 du prolongement du capuchon, s'étendent au-dessus de la glis sière 8 alors que l'embase s'étend sur le côté de celle-ci.
Lors du montage, on engage le capuchon 7 et son ressort 14 dans la glissière, puis l'on enfonce les deux bras 17 de la pièce 15 dans la rainure 12; à partir de ce moment, le capu chon ne peut plus sortir de la glissière, grâce aux bras 17 qui sont au-dessus de celle-ci, et l'embase empêche le capuchon de tourner sur lui-même, tout en lui permettant de s'incliner légèrement pour s'engager exactement sur la mèche. Pour changer le capuchon ou le -res sort, il suffit de retirer les bras 17 hors de la rainure 12.
Lighter. The object of the present invention is a lighter comprising a wick and a movable key cover bearing a cap intended, when the cover is closed, to cover the end of the wick. This lighter is characterized in that the cap slides freely in a slide and carries, removably mounted on it and placed outside the slide, a part which extends above and to the side of the slide and which prevents the cap from coming out of it while guiding it in its movements.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the lighter which is the subject of the present invention.

The lighter shown comprises, on the one hand, a base 1 on which are mounted a wick 2 engaged in a hole 3, a wheel 4 and a pyrophoric stone arranged in a casing 5 and, on the other hand, a cover 6 mounted to hinge on the base 1 and which, when it opens, actuates, by a device which will not be described in more detail, the wheel, which sends sparks to the wick.
In the cover is mounted a cap 7 which, when the cover is closed, covers the wick and extinguishes the flame. This cap can slide with play in a slide 8 fixed to the cover, and having, in cross section, the shape of a U, the ends of the branches 9 of which are curved inward and notched circularly;
the cap 7 slides between these branches and in a hole 10 made in the bottom of the <B> U; </B> piece it includes a cylindrical extension 11 (fig. 4a) which projects out of this bottom and which has, on the outside thereof, a circular groove <B> 12; </B> the free end of this extension is hollowed out by a cylindrical recess 13, in which is engaged one of the ends of 'a coil spring 14, the other end of which presses against the bottom of the cover; 15 (Fig. 5 and 5a) is a part formed of a base 16 and two elastic arms 17 bent at right angles to the base;
these two arms, engaged with friction ment in the groove 12 of the extension of the cap, extend above the slide 8 while the base extends on the side thereof.
During assembly, the cap 7 and its spring 14 are engaged in the slideway, then the two arms 17 of the part 15 are pressed into the groove 12; from this moment, the capu chon can no longer come out of the slide, thanks to the arms 17 which are above the latter, and the base prevents the cap from rotating on itself, while allowing it to tilt slightly to engage exactly on the bit. To change the cap or the -res comes out, just pull the arms 17 out of the groove 12.
