Briquet pyrophorique. L'objet de la présente invention est un briquet pyrophorique, dont le couvercle, en s'ouvrant, actionne une molette rotative con tre laquelle appuie une pierre de ferro- cérium. Ce briquet est caractérisé par un ressort à boudin enroulé -sur la molette et dont une extrémité est reliée au couvercle, de façon que, lorsque celui-ci s'ouvre, le res sort se serre contre la molette qu'il entraîne alors que, lorsque le couvercle se ferme, le ressort se desserre et laisse la molette libre.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution -de l'objat de l'invention.

Le briquet représenté comprend un boî tier 1 et un couvercle 2 monté rotativement sur celui-ci au moyen .d'un arbre cylindri que 3, fixé au boîtier par une vis 4. Sur cet arbre peut tourner librement une molette 5 présentant, sur une de ses faces, un prolonge- ment cylindrique 6, et sur l'autre face, une cavité cylindrique 7. 8 est une pierre de ferro- cérium guidée .dans un tube 9, renfermant un piston 10 et un ressort 11, qui maintien nent constamment la pierre en contact avec la molette.
Cette dernière est actionnée par le couvercle dans le sens de la flèche f au moyen -d'un ressort à boudin 12 enroulé sur le prolongement 6, et dont l'extrémité 13 est fixée au couvercle 2 par une vis 14. Le cou vercle tend constamment à s'ouvrir sous l'ac tion d'un second ressort à boudin 15, logé en partie dans la cavité 7, et enroulé autour de l'arbre 3, appuyant, d'une part, contre le tube 9, solidaire -du boîtier et, d'autre part, contre le fond .du couvercle 2. Ce couvercle peut :être maintenu fermé par un dispositif de verrouillage non représenté.
Lorsque le couvercle s'ouvre sous l'action du ressort 15, il entraîne l'extrémité 13 du ressort 12, lequel serre la molette et l'en traîne, ce qui fait jaillir un jet d'étincelles sur une mèche non représentée. Si l'on re ferme le couvercle, l'extrémité 13 .du ressort 12 tournant en sens inverse, desserre -ce der nier, et n'entraîne pas la molette.

The lighter shown comprises a housing 1 and a cover 2 rotatably mounted thereon by means of a cylindrical shaft 3, fixed to the housing by a screw 4. On this shaft can freely rotate a wheel 5 having, on a of its faces, a cylindrical extension 6, and on the other face, a cylindrical cavity 7. 8 is a ferro-cerium stone guided. in a tube 9, containing a piston 10 and a spring 11, which hold the stone constantly in contact with the wheel.
The latter is actuated by the cover in the direction of arrow f by means of a coil spring 12 wound on the extension 6, and the end of which 13 is fixed to the cover 2 by a screw 14.
