Scliwnngradmagnetssstem.
Level magnet system. The invention relates to a flywheel magnet system for power generators with rods arranged on a circle magnet and pole pieces lying therebetween, with two magnet rods with the same pole resting on each pole piece. By using high-quality magnetic steels, one is able to achieve a significantly greater performance by suitable choice of the number of poles, the magnet length and the pole shoe shape without increasing the diameter that is usual for flywheel magnet apparatus. The invention consists in that the magnet system is equipped with at least six poles.
In the drawing, a flywheel magnet system is shown in section as an execution example of the subject matter of the invention.
The magnet system consists of six ring segment-shaped magnet rods a and pole shoes b, which sit between the magnet rods. The magnetic bars are arranged in such a way that two magnetic bars with the same poles are in contact with each pole piece. The magnets and pole shoes are arranged in a housing c made of non-magnetizable material. The cross section of the pole shoes perpendicular to the axis of the magnet system is trapezoidal. The pole pieces are fastened to the housing with screws d. The outwardly converging inclined surfaces of the pole shoes, on which the obliquely cut ends of the magnets rest, press the magnetic rods against the inner wall of the housing.
The pole faces e of the pole shoes. do not protrude by more than% of the radial depth of the pole pieces over the magnet bars, so that the pole pieces only take up a little of the space enclosed by the magnets. The mean length l of the magnet bars is no more than l '/ 4 times the pole piece width measured in the circumferential direction. The magnetic bars of the example shown consist of a high-quality magnetic steel, in particular of so-called aluminum-nickel steel, which has a very large positive force.
