Description

Magnetic electric machine provided with a stator and a rotor. In the previously used magnet-electric machines provided with a stator and a rotor, the magnetic resistance of the air gap could only be reduced to a minimum by the smallest possible dimensioning of the same and the use of wide pole pieces. However, the smallest clearance necessary for smooth rotation of the rotor in the stator still resulted in a relatively large magnetic resistance in the air gap.

The present invention is a stator and a rotor pointing magneto-electric machine, in which the magnetic resistance of the air gap can be brought to a much lower level than in the known machines of this type. This is achieved in that the air gap be bordering parts of the stator and the rotor mesh like teeth.

The drawing shows a schematic representation of an axial section through an embodiment of the subject of the invention.

1 is the laminated poles of the stator, 2 is the laminated core of the rotor, 3 is the stator winding, 4 is the armature winding. The stator and rotor bars are grooved. In the present example, the grooves of the rotor are self-contained annular grooves, while the grooves in the stator are parts of annular grooves due to the gaps between the stator poles. The webs formed in this way of the one part engage in the grooves of the other part in such a way that they do not touch anywhere with the smallest possible distance.

As a result of this design of the stator and rotor iron, the cross-section offered for flight in the air gap is significantly larger than with a smooth design of the iron surfaces. As a result, the magnetic old has a lower resistance than with the usual design of the surfaces of the stator and rotor that face one another. To produce the grooves and webs, individual lamellae are advantageously allowed to protrude over the other lamellae at regular intervals in the radial direction. The grooves then have a rectangular profile.

However, they can also be produced in other ways, for example by milling or planing and have any other, for example a trapezoidal or triangular cross-section.

If this appears to be desirable, the poles can also be cast instead of laminated. The machine according to the invention can also be built with a vertical axis.
