  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 176362.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     indigoiden        Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen     indi-          goiden    Farbstoff erhalten kann, wenn man  die reaktionsfähigen     a-Derivate    des     4-Methyl-          5.7-dichlorisatins    mit     3-Ogythionaphthen          kondensiert.     



  Der Farbstoff der Formel

    stellt ein blauviolettes Kristallpulver dar,  das sich in konzentrierter     Schwefelsäure    mit  grüner Färbe löst und beim Bedrucken der  Baumwolle sehr echte     ,stark        rotstichige    Blau  töne ergibt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>       \?3,1    Teile 4 -     Methyl    - 5 . 7 -     dichlorisatin     werden durch Erwärmen mit 22-     Telen          Phosphorpenta.chlorid    in 300 Teilen Chlor  benzol in das,     4-Methyl-5    .     7-dichlorissatin-a-          .chlorid    verwandelt und mit einer bei 60 bis  70   hergestellten Lösung von 15 Teilen     3-          Oxythionaphthen    in     30,0    Teilen Chlorbenzol    vereinigt.

   Der als blauviolettes Kristallpul  ver erhaltene Farbstoff wird filtriert,     reit          Chlorbenzol,    sowie mit Alkohol gewaschen  und getrocknet.

Der Farbstoff der Formel EMI0001.0036 stellt ein blauviolettes Kristallpulver dar, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner Farbe löst und beim Bedrucken der Baumwolle sehr echte stark ro@tstichige Blau töne ergibt.
