Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren     Triphenylmethanfarbstoffes.            Gr-genstand    vorliegenden Patentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren     Tri-          phenylmethanfarbstoffes,    welches darin be  steht,     da.ss    man 4.     4'-Dichlorbenzophenon    mit       N-isobutyl-Bz-2    .

       4-dimethyl-a-(p-chlorphe-          nyl)-indol    kondensiert, dann in     ,dem    so er  haltenen Kondensationsprodukt die in 4- und       4'-Stellung        befindlichen    Chloratome mit       p-Phenetidin    umsetzt und die so erhaltene  Verbindung mit einem     sulfierenden        Mittel          behandelt.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  25 Gewichtsteile     4.4'-Dichlorbenzophe-          non    werden mit 31     Gewichtsteilen        N-Isobu-          tyl-Bz-2    .     4-dimethyl    -a-     (p-chlorphenyl)-indol       bei Gegenwart von 20     Gewichtsteilen        Phos-          phorogychlorid    durch mehrstündiges Kochen  in 100 Gewichtsteilen     Toluol    kondensiert.

    Nach     Abdestillieren    des     Toluols    und des noch  vorhandenen     Phosphorogychlorides    wird :das       Kondensationsprodukt    4 Stunden mit 60 Ge  wichtsteilen     p-Phenetidin    bei 120   ver  schmolzen.

   Das überschüssige     p-Phenetidin     wird nach dem Erkalten der Schmelze .durch       Ausrühren    mit verdünnter Salzsäure, worin  der entstandene blaue basische Farbstoff un  löslich ist, entfernt, und     letzterer    nach dem  Trocknen mit Schwefelsäure     sulfiert.    Man  erhält auf diese Weise einen sauren Farb  stoff folgender     Konstitution:

    der als Na-Salz Wolle und Seide in leuch  tenden     grünstichigblauen    Tönen anfärbt, die  sich durch eine     hervorragende    Lichtechtheit  und besonders     schöneAbendfarbe    auszeichnen.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren Triphenylmethanfarbstoffes, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass man 4.4'-Dichlorbenzo- phenon mit N-Isobutyl-Bz-2.4-dimethyl-a- (p-chlorphenyl)-indol kondensiert, dann in dem so erhaltenen Kondensationsprodukt die in 4- und 4'-Stellung befindlichen Chloratome mit p-Phenetidin umsetzt und die so erhal tene Verbindung mit einem sulfierenden Mit tel behandelt.
