Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren     Triphenylmethanfarbstofes.       Gegenstand vorliegenden     Patentes    ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren     Tri-          phenylmethanfarbstoffes,    welches darin be  steht, dass man 4.     4'-Dichlorbenzophenon    mit       Bz-3-chlor-N-äthyl-a-Phenylindol    konden  siert, dann in dem so erhaltenen Konden  sationsprodukt die in 4- und     4'-Stellung    be  findlichen Chloratome mit     p-Phenetidin    um  setzt und die so erhaltene Verbindung mit  einem     sulfierenden        Mittel    behandelt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  25 Gewichtsteile     4.4'-Dichlorbenzophenon     werden mit 26 Gewichtsteilen     Bz-3-chlor-N-          äthyl-a-phenylindol    bei Gegenwart von 20         Gewichtsteilen        Phosphorogychlorid    durch  mehrstündiges Kochen in 100     Gewichtsteilen          Toluol    kondensiert.

   Nach     Abdestillieren    des       Toluols    und des noch vorhandenen Phosphor  ogychlorides wird das     Kondensationsprodukt     4     .Stunden    mit 60     Gewichtsteilen        p-Phene-          tidin    bei 120   verschmolzen.

   Das über  schüssige     p-Phenetidin    wird nach dem Er  kalten der Schmelze durch     Ausrühren    mit  verdünnter Salzsäure,     worin    der entstandene  blaue basische Farbstoff unlöslich ist, ent  fernt, und letzterer nach dem Trocknen mit  Schwefelsäure     sulfiert.    Der so dargestellte  blaue saure Farbstoff folgender Formel:

    färbt als     Na-,Salz    Wolle und Seide in klaren  blauen Tönen, die sich durch eine hervor  ragende Lichtechtheit und vorzügliche Abend  farbe auszeichnen.

   After the toluene and the still present phosphorus ogychlorides have been distilled off, the condensation product is fused with 60 parts by weight of p-phenetidine at 120 for 4 hours.

   The excess p-phenetidine is removed after the melt has been cooled by stirring with dilute hydrochloric acid, in which the blue basic dye formed is insoluble, and the latter is sulfated with sulfuric acid after drying. The blue acidic dye represented in this way has the following formula:

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren Triphenylmethanfarbstoffes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, daB man 4.4'-Dichlorbenzophenon mit Bz-3-chlor-N-äthyl-a-phenylindol kon densiert, dann in dem so erhaltenen Konden- sationsprodukt die in 4- und 4'-Stellung be findlichen Chloratome mit p-Phenetidin um setzt und die so erhaltene Verbindung mit einem sulfierenden Mittel behandelt.
