Spritzanlage.
Spray system. The spray systems for paint, varnish, etc. that are still in use today have the disadvantage that the spray liquid container provided on the spray gun is too small and consequently has to be constantly refilled. This is a time-consuming work, since the paint or varnish must be introduced into the container each time using a filter.
Another deficiency is noticeable in that when the gun is held at an angle, paint or varnish drips out of the air hole in the container on the gun and falls under the surrounding area onto the object to be sprayed. this often becomes unusable. Finally, there is another disadvantage in handling, in that the weight of the pistol is too great due to the 1 liter container and the worker is too tired if the spraying time is longer.
With regard to the capacity, the spray liquid container is too small and with regard to its weight it is again too large. The present invention relates to a spray system for paint, varnish, etc., in which these deficiencies can be remedied According to the invention, this system has two spray fluid tanks, one as the main tank, the other serving as a storage tank for the Spritzvor direction of the system, the whole thing in such a way that the tank can be refilled from the main tank without interrupting work.
An example embodiment of the spray system according to the invention is shown schematically in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows the spray gun to this location, and Fig. 2 on a smaller scale the remaining parts of this system.
The system shown is provided with a paint spray gun 1, which is connected to the air tank 3 through a blown air line 2 with the oil and water separator 4 connected upstream. On the other hand, the air vessel 3 is connected to the compressor 5 by a pressure line 6.
Instead of the usual 1/2 to 1 liter paint container, the gun 1 is provided with a very small, approximately 1 dl-holding reservoir 7, from which the paint is fed to the spray gun of the gun in a known manner. A large main paint container 8 with a capacity of approximately 30 to 50 liters is also provided, which stands on the floor.
This main container 8 is connected to the air chamber 3 by a compressed air hose 9 and is thus also put under pressure. For this purpose, the container 8 is provided with an airtight closing lid 8 ', which is attached to a flange-shaped edge of this container by screwing easily removable. In the container 8 there is also a riser pipe 11 provided at the lower end with a fine copper sieve 10.
At the upper end of the riser pipe 11, a paint supply hose 12 is connected, which on the other side opens into the storage container 7 arranged on the gun 1. The paint and compressed air supply to the atomizer of the gun is actuated by the trigger 13. As much paint is constantly supplied to the reservoir 7 through the paint supply hose 12 as is consumed during the spraying. An interruption of the work to refill the reservoir is therefore completely eliminated.
The supply container 7 is therefore constantly filled and has the purpose that after each interruption in spraying, when the trigger 13 is actuated, the jet of paint starts immediately. Since the main paint container is under a pressure of around 4 meters, the paint can be supplied to the gun at any practical distance and height. . Further, since the paint reservoir 7 is small, the weight of the gun becomes small enough to allow the gun to be used for hours without becoming tired.
Since the storage container 7 does not have an air supply opening, it is also no longer possible for paint to drip out when the pistol is tilted.
