Kraftanlage, insbesondere Schiffsantriebsanlage.
Luftfahrzeugen an wenden.
Power plant, in particular ship propulsion system. The invention relates to a power plant, in particular a ship propulsion system, in which several high-speed, non-reversible power machines drive a main gear of a transmission connected to a shaft to be driven in both directions of rotation via one or more pinion pairs. It consists in the fact that the respectively. the pinion pairs each have a pinion for each direction of rotation of the shaft, each pinion being switched off by means of a coupling from its drive shaft and the drive shafts of the BEZW. the pinion pairs are coupled by means of a reverse gear arranged between the clutches and the engines.
Advantageously, of the machines working on a pair of teeth, when driving forwards, some of the machines give its power to the main wheel via the first pinion and the other part of the machines via the second pinion, and when driving backwards the first part works via the second pinion and the second part via the first pinion. The power plant can be constructed in such a way that at least one power machine can be connected to each shaft of a reversing gear.
On the drawing, four exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown schematically.
According to Fig. 1 and 2, the two since union engines 1, 2 are each provided with a cylinder bank and crankshaft and the middle engine 3 with two rows of cylinders and two inevitably connected crankshafts. The motors cannot be reversed, and a pinion 5 for forward travel and a pinion 6 for reverse travel of the screw shaft are provided for each motor for connection to the main wheel 4. These pinions are each by means of a clutch 7 respectively. 8 can be switched off by the engines, and between the crankshafts of the engines and each of the clutch is a reversing or. Reversing gear 9 is provided.
The direction of rotation of the motors is indicated by arrows on the gears; the arrows show the direction of movement of the upper visible side of the gear wheels directly coupled to the motor shafts.
If the screw shaft is to be driven to travel forward, the couplings 7 are switched on and the power of the motors is fed to the pinion 4 via the couplings 7. In the case of the motor 1, the reverse gear 9 runs idle when driving forward, while in the case of the engine 2, the reverse gear transmits the power and in the case of the motor 3, since the reverse gear represents the inevitable connection between the crankshafts, it transmits the power Coupling 8 coaxial cylinder series. Likewise, all the pinions 6 run unloaded with the main gear 4.
When the system is switched from forward travel to reverse travel, all clutches 7 are simply released and the idle pinion 6 with motors 1, 2 and 3 connected by means of clutches 8.
According to FIGS. 3 and 4, the two outer motors 12 and the two inner motors work. 13 on a main wheel 15, which is provided with external teeth and internal teeth. Each motor is connected to a pinion 5 for forward travel and a pinion 6 for reverse travel. The pinions 6 are each connected via a coupling (8) and a reverse gear 9 to the crankshafts.
In Fig. 4, the position of the pinion 6 is interpreted (the couplings 8 are covered by the pinions 6). In this arrangement too, the pinion 6 and the upper gears of the reversing gear 9 run idle when driving forward. The motors 13 have the same direction of rotation as the screw shaft for forward drive, the motors 12 the opposite direction of rotation. By, the external and internal teeth of the main wheel 15 he gives the advantage of a compact arrangement of the motors, which can all be arranged at the same height.
According to FIG. 5, a motor 19, 20 is provided on both sides of the pinion pair 17, 18, which is used for connection to the main wheel 4. When driving forward, the motor 19 transmits its power via the switched-on clutch 21 and the pinion 17 to the main wheel 4. The direction of rotation of the Mo sector 19 is indicated at the gear 22 .des reversing gear 22, 23. The gear 23 runs idle and the clutch 24 is released. The power of the motor 20 is transmitted to the main gear 4 via the reverse gear 25, 26, the clutch 27 and the pinion 18; the clutch 28 is released. When driving backwards, the clutches 21, 27 are released and the clutches 24, 28 are coupled, so that the motor 19 now works via the second pinion 18 and the motor 20 via the first pinion 17.
As a result, power is transmitted from each of the two wheels of the pinion pair 17, 18 when driving forwards and backwards, and instead of each pinion having to be dimensioned for the transmission of the entire power, they and the main wheel can also be significant Get smaller dimensions, whereby it can be saved significantly in weight and manufacturing costs.
According to Fig. 6, on both sides of the main wheel 4 connected to the screw shaft 30, a two-row motor 31 respectively. 32 arranged with two crankshafts, .the compulsory connection respectively. Gears 34, 35 respectively. 36, 37, which form reverse gears on each side of the pinion pair 39, 40. The pinions 39, 40 are connected to the motors 31, 32 by means of the hydraulic clutches 41, 42, 43, 44.
When driving forward, the motor 31 is connected to the pinion 39 by means of the activated clutch 41 and the power of the cylinder row arranged on the pale axis with the gear 35 is transmitted to the pinion 39 via the reverse gear 34, 35 and the coupling 41.
The motor 32 transmits its power via the clutch 44 to the pinion 40, g hlosse whereby the reverse gear 37, 36 .the power of the: the gear 36 corresponding cylinder row transmits. When driving backwards, the clutches 40, 41 are released and the clutches 42, 43 switched on, so that the motor 31 works on the pinion 40 and the motor 32 on the pinion 39. Here give the wheels 34 and 37 assigned Zy cylinder rows their power via the reverse gear and the clutches 42, 43 to the pinions 40, 39 from.
With this arrangement it is not only avoided that in each case one of the pinions meshing with the wheel 1 idles, but also that a gear of the reversing gear has to run idle. Instead of the double-row motors 31, 32, at least one motor can of course be connected to each shaft of the reversing gear. be connected. Not only diesel engines, but also, for example, steam engines, internal combustion turbines, steam turbines, etc. are provided as prime movers. Also, the invention is not limited to ship propulsion systems, but can also be used in stationary systems and when driving land bezw. Aircraft.
To avoid vibrations respectively. Resonance phenomena can be provided between the pinions, which mesh with the main wheel, and the prime movers, which dampen rotational vibrations. For example, the clutches can be designed as damper clutches.
