Chassis, in particular for motor vehicles with an engine arranged in their rear part. The invention relates to a chassis, in particular for motor vehicles with an engine arranged in its rear part, and is that at least the engine and the gearbox of the drive mediating parts are stored separately from one another on an auxiliary support body, which in turn has at least three points the main support body of the vehicle is in connec tion.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is schematically illustrated by a plan view.
The bezw from a profile iron. Auxiliary support body formed from one or more pressed sheet metal parts together set frame by 1 has cross members 2 and 3. On the spars of the actual support body 1, and the cross members 2 and 3, the separate pieces of manufacture bil Denden parts of the drive unit, namely the motor 4, the axle gear 5 and the gearbox 6 are mounted. The drive connection between these parts is done appropriately by flexible couplings 7 and 8 to compensate for inaccuracies in the manufacture and assembly of the parts, as well as the connections with the auxiliary support body.
The auxiliary support body 1 is on both sides with the pin 9 on the longitudinal beams 10 respectively. Fork arms of the vehicle frame or stored on the car body and is also on the bolt 11 with a cross member 12 respectively. the fork center of the frame or in connection with the car body. The bearing pin 9 are conveniently stored using flexible intermediate layers. Between tween the bearing pin 11 and the driving tool frame or the car body, an intermediate member, not shown, can be inserted. Here, too, pliable inserts can also be used. On the auxiliary support body 1 respectively. At sets 111 of the same, the springs 13 serving to support the wheel axles 511 are fastened.
The axes 5 1 are useful as pendulum axes or in some other way, for. B. by means of joint parallelograms so ausgebil det that there is an independent up and down movement of the drive wheels. Instead of the drawn springs, helical springs or leaf springs arranged transversely to the frame can of course also find use, if you do not even prefer, the springs directly against part of the main frame. of the vehicle.
There are naturally numerous deviations from the chassis described possible. For example, the auxiliary support body can consist of a single box-shaped, pressed part on which mountings for the individual drive parts are formed at corresponding points. The fastening supply of the drive parts on the auxiliary support body can advantageously be carried out using elastic intermediate layers (rubber) as a result of the flexible coupling between the individual parts, so that the vibrations and noises are dampened directly at the place where they arise. Any vibrations of the auxiliary support body are then optionally absorbed by the elastic intermediate layers provided between this and the chassis or the car body.
