Description
<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 169696. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines ehromhaltigen AzofarbstofFes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen chrom- haltigen Azofarbstoff aus dem Azofarbstoff, der durch Kuppeln von monochlorierter 1 Diazo-2-oxynaphthalin-4-sulfonsäure und 2- Oxynaphthalin entsteht, erhalten kann, wenn man diesen Azofarbatoff,
ein Chromierungs- mittel und eine hydroxylgruppenhaltige or ganische Verbindung in ätzalkalischem Me dium aufeinander einwirken lässt.
Der erhaltene chromhaltige Farbstoff stellt ein grauviolettes Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser mit blauer stark rotdichroitischer Farbe löst. 10 %ige Sodalösung und 10 %ige Natronlauge lösen den Farbstoff mit violet ter Farbe. Er färbt Wolle aus organisch saurem-schwefelsaurem Bade in vorzüglich echten Marineblautönen.
Beispiel: 11,2 Teile des Azofarbstoffes aus mono chlorierter 1-Diazo-2-oxynaphthalin-4-sulfon- säure und 2-Oxynaphthalin werden in eine Kaliumohromitlösung eingetragen, die aus 18 Teilen einer 8 %igen Ohromhydroxydpaste, entsprechend 1,44 Teilen Cr203,
11 Teilen 90 %igem Ätzkali und 3 Teilen Zucker frisch bereitet wurde. Man erwärmt das Reaktions gemisch unter Rühren 6 Stunden auf 80-90 0 und hierauf 2 Stunden auf 90-100 0. Hierauf wird mit kaltem Wasser auf 100 Vol.-Teile verdünnt und der neue chrombaltige Farbstoff durch Neutralisieren mit stark verdünnter Salzsäure ausgeschieden.
Zu demselben Farbstoff gelangt man, wenn man, statt den Azofarbstoff mit solchen Komplexverbindungen zu behandeln, die durch Einwirkung von hydroxylgruppenhaltigen organischen Verbindungen auf ätzalkali- sche Chromhydroxydsuspensionen entstehen, Chromsalze sowie überschüssige Ätzalkalien zusammen mit den hydroxylgruppenhaltigen organischen Verbindungen und dem Azo- farbstoff erwärmt.
