Motor vehicle for rail operation.
There are locomotives known in which. Instead of the usual arrangement of one or two driver's cabs at the vehicle, there is a driver's cab, which is usually located in the middle of the vehicle and is often raised.
Today there is a general effort to make both the design and the mode of operation of traction vehicles as simple as possible. In particular, it is an advantage if such vehicles, without significantly deviating from the previously customary design, are suitable for one-man operation and allow the use of the lightweight construction.
It can now be one of the above
A vehicle design in accordance with principles can be achieved in that the braking and signaling devices, as well as the control apparatus for the direction of travel and speed, are only provided once in the driver's cab. All of these parts are arranged, for example, on a driver's table which, together with a driver's seat, is placed on a turntable, according to the Fahrl; Riehlung rotatable, is constructed.
It is also advantageous if the

According to the invention, the Führhausein direction is at least partially only present and adjustable according to the direction of travel.
The machines and apparatus for converting the traction energy, with the exception of the means of transmission to the drive wheels, are expediently assembled into an apparatus block and installed in the space under the driver's cab. In this way ka. nn, for example, in a single-phase alternating current vehicle, the transformer with built-on tap changer and reversing switch, as well as the maximum automaton are designed as an apparatus block for installation as a construction unit.
In the case of electric locomotives, the driver's cab roof allows the pantograph to be set up at the correct height, whereas otherwise special scaffolding would be necessary because of the usually considerably smaller roof height.
Finally, the roof of the passenger compartments can be designed to be easily removable, which is particularly; can be an advantage when driving in mountainous areas.
FIGS. 1 and 2 show respectively in longitudinal section. an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in a horizontal section. a represents the cab structure of a motor vehicle for passenger transport. nsport. b is the driver's desk, in which braking and signaling devices as well as the control apparatus for the direction of travel and speed are installed. c is the driver's seat.
Driver's table b and driver's seat c are built on a turntable d, which allows the cab equipment to be adjusted according to the direction of travel. The transmission of the control and signal impulses takes place through appropriate transmission means, which allow 180 rotation.
It is possible to make the setting of the direction of travel directly dependent on the position of the turntable, with a second travel switch being unnecessary. el, e2 are stairs (they can also be ladders) through which the guide can get to the entrances f1, f2 in the shortest possible way. g is a pantograph as it is required in electric vehicles with energy supply through overhead lines. h represents the apparatus block in which all the machines and apparatus required for energy conversion are assembled. This apparatus block can be exchanged as a whole for inspections and repairs.
