Description

Process for producing a water-soluble diazoamido compound. The subject of the present patent is a process for the preparation of a water-soluble diazoamido compound. It is characterized in that piperidine-3-sialfonic acid is allowed to act on diazotized 1-amino-4- (4'-methylphenoxyacetylamino) -2,5-dimethoxybenzene in the presence of an acid-binding agent.

Example: A diazo solution of 23 g 1-amino is added at 150 to an aqueous solution of 1 "7 gr. Of piperidine-3-sulfonic acid sodium and 20 g - 4 - (4 '- methylphenoxyacetylamino) - 2,5-dimethogybenzene slowly pour in. The reaction is quickly over. The yellowish colored diazoamido compound is precipitated from the solution by adding sodium chloride.

It is soluble in water and is a valuable product for dyeing purposes.
