Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Diazosalzpräparates    für Färberei und Druckerei.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein gut  haltbares     Diazosalzpräparat    für Färberei  und Druckerei erhält, wenn man die wie  üblich hergestellte mineralsaure     Diazosalz-          lösung    von     Chlortoluidin        (CH,    :     NH,    : C1  = 1 : 2 : 4) mit einem     1.5-naphtalindi-          sulfosauren    Metallsalz umsetzt.  



  Das so erhaltene neutrale 1.     5-Naphtalin-          disulfonat    des     diazotierten        Chlortoluidins     von z. B. 42 % Gehalt an     Chlortoluidinbase     bildet ein weisses, sich am Licht bräunendes,  gut haltbares, lösliches, unmittelbar zum  Ausfärben grundierter Baumwolle geeignetes       Diazosalzpräparat,    das zweckmässig     mit-    ge  eigneten, die Ausfärbungen, die Löslichkeit  und die Haltbarkeit günstig beeinflussenden  Zusätzen und     Färbereihilfsmitteln,    wie z. B.

    Aluminiumsulfat, Alaun,     arylsixlfonsauren     Metallsalzen und dergleichen, noch auf  einen handelsüblichen     Diazogehalt    eingestellt  wird.  



       Beispiel     Eine aus 142 Teilen     4-Chlor-2-amino-l-          toluol    in üblicher Weise hergestellte kon-    zentrierte Lösung des     Diazochlorids    wird mit  185 Teilen 1.     5-naphtalinclisulf        osaurem    Na  trium,     Mol.-Gewicht    832, bis zur völligen  Umsetzung verrührt;     dann    wird     abfiltriert     und das     Diazosalz    bei mässiger Temperatur  getrocknet und unter     Um_    ständen durch Ver  mischen mit geeigneten     Färbereihilfsstoffen     in handelsfertige Form gebracht.

   Diese Zu  sätze können auch dem noch feuchten     Di-          azosalz    zugemischt werden.

       EXAMPLE A concentrated solution of the diazo chloride prepared in the customary manner from 142 parts of 4-chloro-2-amino-l-toluene is stirred with 185 parts of 1.5-naphthalene-disulfate sodium, mol. Weight 832, until the reaction is complete ; it is then filtered off and the diazo salt is dried at moderate temperature and, under certain circumstances, brought into commercial form by mixing it with suitable dyeing auxiliaries.

   These additives can also be added to the still moist diazo salt.

PATENT CLAIM: Process for the production of a diazo salt preparation for dyeing and printing, characterized in that the normally produced mineral acid diazo salt solution of chlorotoluidine (CH,: NH2: Cl = 1: 2: 4) is mixed with a 1.5 - naphthalene di - converts sulfonic acid metal salt.
