      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 166497.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     chromhaltigen        Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen chrom  haltigen     Azofarbstoff        dureh    Einwirkung des       chromhaltigen        Azofarbstoffes,    der durch     Chro-          mieren    des     Azofarbstoffes    aus     diazotierter        1-          Amino-2-o%yrrapbthalin-4-sulfonsäur,

  e    und     2-          Oxy        rraphthalin    entsteht, auf den     Azofarbstoff     aus     diazotierter        1-Oxy-2-amino-4-methylben-          zol-6-sulforrsäure    und     2-Oxynaphthalin    erhal  ten kann, wenn diese Einwirkung in alka  lischem Medium erfolgt.  



  Der neue chromhaltige     Azofarbstoff    wird  als     violettschwarzes    Pulver erhalten, das  Wolle aus saurem Bade in marineblauen  Tönen von sehr guten     Eehtheiten    färbt.  



  <I>Beispiel;</I>  Eine Paste der Chromverbindung das     Azo-          farbstoffes    aus     diazotierter        1-Amino-2-oxy-          naplrthalirr-4-sulfonsäure    und     2-Oxynaphthalin,     die durch 10stündiges Kochen von 41,6 Teilen  des     Azofarbstoffes    mit einer     Chromformiat-          lösung,    enthaltend 9,12 Teile     Cr20s    und  Isolieren durch Filtrieren erhalten wurde,    wird in 600 Teile einer 6     ojoigen    Natronlauge  eingerührt.

   Dazu gibt man 19,1 Teile des       Azofarbstoffes    aus     diazotierter        1-Oxy-2-amino-          4-methylbenzol-6-sulfonsäure    und     2-Oxynaph-          thalin    und kocht das Gemisch 4 Stunden am       Rüekflusskühler.    Nach dem Verdünnen auf  etwa<B>1000</B>     Volumenteile    wird von geringen  Mengen Verunreinigungen     abfiltriert,    das  Filtrat mit stark verdünnter Salzsäure neu  tralisiert und die blauviolette Lösung im  Vakuum zur Trockne verdampft.  



  Zu demselben chromhaltigen     Azofarbstoff     gelangt man, wenn statt Natronlauge andere  Alkalien, wie z. B. Kalilauge, Soda, Pottasche,  Borax,     Magnesiumoxyd,        Calciumhydroxyd,     Ammoniak oder     Trialkaliphosphat    verwendet  werden.
