Description
<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 165830. erfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen chromhaltigen Farbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen chromhaltigen Azofarbstoff durch Einwirkung des chromhaltigen Azofarbstoffes, der durch Chromieren des Azofarbstoffes aus nitrierter 1-Diazo-2-oxynaphthalin-4-sulfonsäure und 2- Oxynaphthalin entsteht, auf den selben chrom freien Azofarbstoff erhalten kann, wenn die Einwirkung in alkalischem Medium erfolgt.
Der erhaltene chromhaltige Azofarbstoff löst sich leicht in Wasser mit violettschwarzer Farbe und färbt Wolle aus saurem Bade in schwarzen Tönen von hervorragenden Echt- heiten.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 92,2 Teile des Azofarbstoffes aus nitrier ter 1- Diazo - 2 - oxynaphthalin - 4- sulfonsäure und 2-Oxynaphthalin werden in 2000 Teilen Wasser suspendiert; nach Zusatz von Chrom- formiat, entsprechend 18,2 Teilen CrE0s, wird 8 Stunden rückfliessend gekocht. Die entstan dene unlösliche grünschwarze Ohromverbin- dung wird durch Absaugen isoliert und so dann zusammen mit 45 Teilen desselben, jedoch chromfreien; Ausgangsfarbstoffes in 1600 Teilen Wasser verrührt.
Man fügt 200 Teile 30% Natronlauge zu und kocht unter Rückfluss 4 Stunden.
Die erhaltene violett schwarze Lösung wird nach dem Abkühlen auf 50-600 mit 10 %iger Salzsäure neutra- lisiert, dann mit etwa 3 Teilen 85 %iger Ameisensäure schwach lackmussauer gestellt und hierauf unter Vakuum zur Trockne ver dampft.
Zu demselben chromhaltigen Azofarbstoff gelangt man, wenn statt Natronlauge andere alkalisch wirkende Substanzen, wie zum Bei spiel Kalilauge, Soda, Pottasche, Borax, Mag nesiumoxyd, Calciumoxyd, Ammoniak oder Trialkaliphösphat verwendet werden.

<I> Example: </I> 92.2 parts of the azo dye from nitrated 1-diazo-2-oxynaphthalene-4-sulfonic acid and 2-oxynaphthalene are suspended in 2000 parts of water; After adding chromium formate, corresponding to 18.2 parts of CrE0s, the mixture is refluxed for 8 hours. The resulting insoluble green-black ear compound is isolated by suction and then together with 45 parts of the same, but chromium-free; Stirring the starting dye in 1600 parts of water.
200 parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution are added and the mixture is refluxed for 4 hours.
The violet-black solution obtained is, after cooling to 50-600, neutralized with 10% hydrochloric acid, then made weakly lacquer wall with about 3 parts of 85% formic acid and then evaporated to dryness under vacuum.
The same chromium-containing azo dye is obtained if, instead of sodium hydroxide, other alkaline substances, such as potassium hydroxide, soda, potash, borax, magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, ammonia or trialkaliphosphate, are used.
