Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Tegtilhilfsstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem  wertvollen     Tegtilhilfsstoff    gelangt, wenn man  ein Gemisch von     Pineöl    und     o-Chlorphenol     mit einem     Sulfonierungamittel    behandelt, wo  bei eine     Kondensation    und eine     Sulfonierung     erfolgt.

   Das     Pineöl    besteht fast ausschliess  lich aus     Terpenalkoholen.    Es enthält wesent  liche     Mengen    an     Terpineol    und bei dem vor  liegenden Verfahren erfolgt aller Wahrschein  lichkeit nach eine Addition des     o-Chlorphenols     an die ungesättigten Verbindungen des     Pineöls.     



  Als     Sulfonierungsmittel    kommen konzen  trierte Schwefelsäure,     Chlorsulfonsäure    und       Schwefelsäureanhydrid    enthaltende Schwefel  säure in Betracht.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>       Man    vermischt 42,8 Gewichtsteile     o-Chlor-          phenol    mit 51,3 Gewichtsteilen     Pineöl    und  lässt allmählich unter Rühren und Kühlen       9.1,1    Gewichtsteile     Chlorsulfonsäure    hinzu  tropfen, wobei man die Temperatur unter  etwa 10   C hält. Man rührt darauf einige  Zeit bei Zimmertemperatur nach, wobei eine    lebhafte     Salzsäureentwicklung    eintritt und  trägt auf Eis aus.

   Das sich dabei abschei  dende     Sulfonierungsprodukt    wird     mitNTatrium-          chloridlösung    gewaschen, neutralisiert und  durch Zusatz von Wasser auf die gewünschte  Konzentration eingestellt. Man erhält ein in  Wasser klar lösliches Öl, das beispielsweise  in verdünnter Schwefelsäure gut netzt, und  das daher mit Vorteil beim Karbonisieren  verwendet wird.

  Suitable sulfonating agents are concentrated sulfuric acid, chlorosulfonic acid and sulfuric acid containing sulfuric anhydride.



  <I> Example: </I> 42.8 parts by weight of o-chlorophenol are mixed with 51.3 parts by weight of pine oil and 9.1.1 parts by weight of chlorosulphonic acid are gradually added dropwise with stirring and cooling, the temperature being kept below about 10 ° C. . The mixture is then stirred for some time at room temperature, a vigorous evolution of hydrochloric acid occurs and is carried out on ice.

   The sulfonation product which separates out is washed with sodium chloride solution, neutralized and adjusted to the desired concentration by adding water. The result is an oil which is clearly soluble in water and which wets well in dilute sulfuric acid, for example, and which is therefore used with advantage in carbonation.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Tegtil- hilfsstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man ein Gemisch von Pineöl und o-Chlorphenol mit einem Sulforrierungsmittel behandelt, wo bei eine Kondensation und eine Sulfonierung erfolgt. Man erhält ein in Wasser klar lösliches 01, das beispielsweise in verdünnter Schwe felsäure gut netzt, und das daher mit Vor teil beim Karbonisieren verwendet wird.
