Electric motor device for watch movements. The object of the present invention is an electric motor device for clockwork movements comprising a motor lever actuated by an electromagnet and acting on a ratchet coupled by a spring to one of the moving parts of the movement. This device differs from known embodiments of this type by a switch of the excitation circuit of the electromagnet, the movable part of which is formed by the motor lever itself, so that the latter opens. the switch after actuation of said lever by the electromagnet.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic plan; Fig. 2 shows the circuit switch for excitation of the electromagnet in its open position, and FIG. 3 is a detail of the movement transmission mechanism.
The motor device comprises an electromagnet coil 1 fixed on the plate 2 by means of a bracket â. The armature 4 of this electromagnet is articulated to the coil 1 by means of a spring 5 having the tendency to move the armature away from the core of the electromagnet. The travel of the armature is limited by a screw 6, the threaded rod 7 of which is fixed in the core of the electromagnet.
The extension of the frame 4 cooperates with a shoe 8 integral with a motor lever 9. pivoting around a tenon 10 planted in the plate 2. This motor lever 9 is subjected to the action of a powerful spring 11 attached. in 12 to the plate. The lever 9 has a pawl 13 armed with a spring 14 and cooperating with the teeth of a ratchet 15. The latter is mounted idle on the extended axis 16 of the large average 17 and is maintained, on the one hand, by a ring 18 driven on the axis 16 and, on the other hand, by a washer 19 also fixed on the same axis. A helical spring 20 is provided between the ratchet 15 and the ring 18 and serves for the uninterrupted transmission of the movement to the axis of the large mean. A retaining pawl 21 armed with a spring 22 prevents the ratchet 15 from turning backwards.
The lever 9 carries at its free end a contact 23 on which rests a contact cond 24 integral with a leaf spring 25 screwed onto the plate 2 and isolated from the latter by an insulating material plate 26. A spout 27 also made of insulating material and cooperating with a notch 9 'of lever 9 is mounted on the enlarged head of leaf spring 25. This spout can oscillate around a screw at bearing 28, but its movement is limited by two stops 29 and 30 planted in the head of the leaf spring.
Coil 1 is supplied by a battery 31 connected, on the one hand, to the insulated-terminal 32 and, on the other hand, to terminal 33 screwed into the plate 2. The excitation circuit of the The electromagnet is therefore as follows: Battery, terminal 32, coil 1, spring = blade 25, contacts 24 and 23, lever 9, plate 2, terminal 33, battery.
This circuit is closed in the position shown in FIG. 1. At this moment, the armature 4 is attracted and oscillates the lever 9 against the action of the spring 11 so that the beak 27 is pushed until it comes to rest. against the stop 30. The lever 9 having not yet finished its travel lifts the nozzle 27 by means of its inclined plane 9 "and separates the contact 24 from the contact 23, which causes the interruption of the excitation circuit At the end of the travel of the lever 9, the spout 27 is inserted into the notch 9 ', as shown in Fig. 2.
As soon as the armature 4 falls, the spring 11 can relax and return the lever 9 to its initial position. This makes the spout 27 oscillate until it abuts against the stop 29, which makes it come out of the notch 9 "so that the contact 24 comes to rest again against the contact 23, iron thus covering the excitation circuit of the electromagnet (see fig. 1).
During the relaxation of the spring 11, the pawl 13 drives the ratchet 15 and thus actuates the movement.
