Self-winding portable timepiece. The object of the invention is a portable self-winding timepiece, comprising a titi mobile element capable of performing by gravity or by the cushioning effect, a rectilinear back-and-forth movement determining the automatic winding of the watch. mainspring.
This timepiece is characterized in that the movable element mentioned is constituted by the movement provided with its case, the latter being guided on a base connected on the other hand to the watch by a winding lever.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention intended to be worn as a bracelet.
Fig. 1 shows it in plan, seen from below; fig. 2 is a side projection of FIG. 1, showing part in section; fig. 3 is a front elevational view; fig. 4 shows, on a larger scale, a partial cross section along the line IV-IV of FIG. 3.
On a plate 6 of rectangular shape, constituting the base, is adjusted a rectangular watch 7 so that it can perform on the plate 6 titi rec tilinear movement back and forth either by gravity or by the effect. jerks to which the timepiece is exposed when it is worn as a bracelet. To this end, the longitudinal sides of the plate 6 are curved and constitute two slides 8 having a transverse section of semi-cylindrical shape.
In each of these slides are arranged and can roll two balls 9 against which rests, from the inside, the case 10 of the watch by two lateral edges 11 cut into a groove and thus forming two raceways for the balls 9 Thanks to this interlocking ball, the watch is retained in the slides of the base plate 6 and can freely perform a rectilinear back-and-forth movement thereon. This movement is limited by two stop pins 12 fixed to the edges 11 of the housing, on either side of one of the balls 9. As for the other ball 9, its path is limited, on the one hand, by a pin 13 and, on the other hand, by a plug 14 fixed in one of the ends of the slideways 8.
The other end of the slides 8 is also blocked by means of a screw 15. These screws 15 can be removed from the base plate, which makes it possible to remove from the slides, the balls and the watch, respectively. put back in place.
The base plate 6 is provided at its ends with two handles-16 -for fixing a fastening device.
The automatic winding of the mainspring takes place when the watch 7 performs a back-and-forth movement on the base plate. For this purpose, the watch comprises a lever 17 fitted to a square 18 of a winding shaft 20 driving, by means of a usual snap-in, single or double-acting, a winding wheel (not shown in drawing).
The lever 17 is engaged by its free end having a slide 17 'with a tenon 19 fixed to the base plate 6. The end of the lever 17 being held by the tenon 19 when the watch is moving in a reverse movement. -and back on the plate 6, the winding shaft 20 receives an alternating rotational movement determining the winding of the mainspring.
