Description

Litter. The object of the present invention is a stretcher comprising. stretchers each comprising at least two articulated segments between them as well as handles capable of sliding at the ends of said stretchers, the feet being fixed to the body of the stretcher, so as to be able, during transport, to be applied between the stretchers stretchers.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the subject of the invention.

Fig. 1 is a plan view; The, fi-. 2 is a side view, and FIG. 3 is a side view, la. stretcher ready to be transported.

The stretcher shown comprises two stretchers 1 and 2 each comprising two segments 3 and 5, 5 and 6 articulated in pairs by means of hinges 7; the crosspieces 8 and 9, 10 and 11 keep apart the corresponding segments of the stretchers to which are adjusted, on the one hand, canvas elements such as 12, on the other hand, handles 13, 14, 1.5, 16 capable of sliding in brackets 17 and 18. At the crosspieces 8 and 11 are articulated feet 19, which can, during transport of the. stretcher, apply between the stretchers in 20.

Said stretcher further comprises a backrest 21, articulated at 23, on each bran card; to said back are two articulated pins 24 to which is fixed a rod 25 coooperating with the teeth of the racks C6 fixed to the stretchers.

A hook 27 makes it possible to make the stretcher rigid when it is open, while the hook 28 makes it possible to keep it folded during transport which is carried out by means of straps fixed, in the manner & straps, on the one hand, .in - loops 29, on the other hand, to the stirrups 17.

The stretcher shown is very light and easy to transport; it is likely to render important services, especially in the mountains.

It is obvious that the construction given by way of example can be modified without departing from the scope of the claim.
