Description
Cleaning brush. The present invention relates to a cleaning brush with a suction connection. It is used to clean items of clothing, upholstered furniture, carpets, blankets, etc. The advantage of this brush compared to ordinary brushes ordered in a dust-free, effortless and much more effective cleaning method.
In accordance with the invention, the cleaning brush is formed from a hand brush holder body, which is provided with movably arranged Bür stenkodies and means for sucking up the dust that is thrown up.
In the drawing, an example of execution forums of the subject invention is shown.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section of the brush in the upright position, and Fig. 2 is a view from the rear.
In an elongated, the hand brush holding body forming shell 1 is on sets 2 a bearing plate 3 by means of screws ben 4 arranged. In this bearing plate 3 bearing sleeves 5 are used at regular intervals in the longitudinal center, in wel chen means axle journals 6 rotating brushes 7 are rotatably mounted so that their bristles are about half over the suction port. By a ver with suction openings 8 provided septum 9, which is attached to the bearing sleeves <5, a fume cupboard 10 is formed in front of the bearing plate 3, which opens into a connecting piece 11. Ien rear part of the shell 1 and in bearing supports 12 of the same, a drive shaft 18 is superimposed ge.
On this, as well as on the inner end of the journal 6 of the rotary brushes sit bevel gears 14 and 15, which are in engagement with each other so that when Dre hung of the drive shaft 13 adjacent Ro tation brushes received in relation to each other opposite directions of rotation. The drive shaft 13 has a connector 16 for a flexible shaft, the latter being driven by an electric motor, preferably yours of a vacuum cleaner.
A suction pipe 17 of a vacuum cleaner can be connected to the connecting piece 11. When the automatic brush is in operation, the dust generated by the activity of the brushes 7 is sucked off through the suction openings 8 of the partition 9 into the exhaust chamber and from there through the flexible suction tube 17 of the vacuum cleaner into a dust bag. By loosening the two screws 4, the bearing plate 3 together with the brushes and gears can be easily removed for cleaning. The drive shaft could also be operated by a manual drive.
Furthermore, an electric motor could act directly or through a transmission gear on the drive shaft 13, in which case a suction fan built into the shell 1 is operated at the same time.
The cleaning brush can also be used for chipping, logging, grinding and polishing, etc. if the appropriate tools are used.
