Fig. 11 shows an element serving to provide a vertical duct in the thickness of a wall; Fig. 12 is a view of an element similar to that of FIG. 11, divided into two parts, and dimensioned so as to allow an offset of the joints with the elements of fig. 11; The fi-. 13 shows a section of wall in which is fitted a vertical duct, formed with elements according to fig. 11 and 12; Fig. 14 is a view of a variant of the element shown in FIG. 4, fitted out to receive a ventilation duct;
The fie. 15 shows a view of a corner pillar of a construction formed between the following three elements. 1 -and 14; The fies. 16 and 17 show in perspective two variants of construction of wall angles, similar to that of fie. 8 -and for mées with elements according to fie. 1 and 11 in which are embedded - wooden beams (fig. 16) - and iron beams with double T (fig. 17).
Here is how, by way of example, the process according to the invention can be implemented by means of the elements shown.
The element represented in fie. 1 has a; cross section in the shape of a U, so as to constitute the interior and exterior facings. The side faces of the element com carry one of the vertical ribs 1 and the other of the corresponding grooves 2, allowing them to fit together in order to form a horizontal seat. The grooves 2 of one of the elements receive the ribs 1 of the adjoining element. On the upper and lower faces of the element are provided, protruding ribs 1 -and grooves 2, ribs 3, respectively longitudinal and parallel grooves 4.
The arrangement of these ribs and grooves enables the elements thus formed to be superposed, the ribs 3 of each of them being housed in the corresponding grooves 4 of the upper contiguous element, respectively lower.
Each branch of 1'U has .d therefore in a plane parallel to the face of the corresponding facing, a longitudinal rib 3 and a vertical rib 1, as well as a longitudinal groove 4 and a vertical groove 2. The wall 5, forming the U core, is provided with two openings 6 and further has channels 7 on its side faces.
The fragment of wall, represented in fie. 3, shows that the foundations, formed by the juxta position .d'élément following fie. 1, are super-laid with staggered joints. The elements of each seat therefore form horizontal conduits 8, which, located in different bases, communicate with each other through the holes 6 and through the channels 7, made on the side faces, in the middle of the joints. These holes and these channels are arranged so as not to be an extension of each other from one seat to the other. The ascending currents which occur are therefore partially broken, at each course, as a result of the deviations which the walls make them undergo in their direction of flow.
This arrangement of the vertical circulation channels therefore produces a considerable slowing down in the speed of movement of the air in this direction.
The interlocking of the elements by ribs 1 and grooves 2 oppose any exchange with the outside along a seat. The vertical channel 7, remaining free in the middle of the seal, constitutes a siphon cutter, the purpose of which is to oppose the penetration by capillary action of any moisture from the outside to the inside.
To form the angles of the constructions, elements such as the element shown in fie are used. 4 and 5. This element has a part which has a U, section whose core has a passage opening 6 '. Grooves 1 ',. parallel to the faces of the facings, extend on the outer face of the horizontal part 5 'of the U. This element has, on the other hand, a part 9, extending the U section and in which a rectangular opening 10 is made.
To form a wall angle, the following elements fie. 4 are arranged square one above the other, as shown in fie. 6, the rectangular openings 10 corresponding to each other, so as to constitute a vertical passage extending over the entire height of the wall thus established. This wise step can form, for example, smoke ducts or receive a reinforcement 11 with concrete filling, which achieves, by the superposition of the elements, a vertical chaining pillar, as shown in fie. 7.
The type of construction which is shown in this figure shows the use of these corner elements with corresponding elements. 1, the latter being combined with a half-element 12 to allow the joints to be offset.
In the type of construction of fig. 8. the elements of fig. 1, instead of being arranged so as to constitute arches, are used in the position drawn in FIG. 2, that is to say that a seat of elements thus arranged forms a kind of gutter which serves as a cof frage for a filling combined with irons 13, achieving a horizontal -chaining. This chaining could be connected to the frame ver tiral.e 11-corner pillars, or form the mature arch of a door lintel 14 or de- fenP- i: re, as shown in said FIG. 8.
Another type of element, represented in fiy. 11, allows a vertical duct to be fitted in a section of wall. The element 17 comprises a block, the section of which by a horizontal plane has the shape of an U. The branches 18 and 18 'are arranged in the width of the element and are each provided with a or opening 19, 19 'crossing them right through. The upper 20 and lower 21 faces project from the longitudinal edges of the element, with a view to their interlocking with the upper and lower elements.
A modification of this form of element is shown in fig. 12 in which the branches 25, 25 '.de PU each have two openings 23, 23', respectively 24, 24 '. The core of PU of this element is cut to form two blocks 22, 22 '. The openings 23 'and 24 are arranged so as to be offset with respect to the openings 1.9 respectively 19' when two elements according to FIG. 11 and fig. 12 are superimposed to form a vertical channel.
The upper faces 2.5, 25 '- and lower 26, 2.6' of the element according to fi-. 12 are set back with respect to the longitudinal edges -the blocks, allowing both interlocking with the elements according to FIG. 11.
Fig. 13 shows a type of construction made with elements according to FIGS. 11 'and 12, in combination with elements according to 1-â fig. 1. In the first lower seat, the elements 27, 27 'are similar to those of FIG. 1 and juxtaposed on each side of the branches 18, 18 'of the element 17 (FIG. 11).
The seat which is superimposed thereon comprises an element of FIG. 12 of which the. branch 22 straddles element 27 and one of the branches of element 17, while branch 22 'straddles the other branch of element 17 as well as element 27' . This alternation continues over the entire height of the wall and thus forms the vertical duct referred to above and which can be used to lo g. Risers for lighting, central heating, or even for waste pipes. , elevator counterweights, etc.
When it comes to providing a ventilation duct communicating with the interior of the wall, an element of the type shown in FIG. 14. This element is an element .d'angle 28, which comprises a rectangular part 29 whose sides 30, 30 'extend in the form of wings 31, respectively 31', to form the internal and external primers of one of the corner walls.
The rectangular part 29 is pierced with a vertical central opening 32, which can serve, for example, as formwork for the establishment of a corner pillar. Opposite sides 33 and 33 'of the rectangular part are pierced in their center with an opening 34, respectively 34', constituting housings for the ends of a ventilation tube.
Fig. 15 shows a corner pillar of a construction executed inter alia with elements according to fig. 14. The seat comprises a corner element 28 extending on one of the faces by an element 27 and on the other face, also by an element 27, placed in the extension of the wings 31, 31 '. the .d'angle element 28. In the superposed seat, the wings of the .d'angle element are crossed at a square and the wall is extended by elements 27 in the same way as described above -above. The opening 32 is filled with a frame 36, surrounded by concrete.
In the openings 34 are housed aeration tubes 35, closed on the side of the outer facing by metal lattices 37 adjustable as required. Vent tubes of this kind are particularly used in the part of the building facing north or west.
Figs. 16 and 17 show two variants of construction of wall angles with elements according to fig. 1 and 11. The use of these elements according to FIG. 11 allows in particular the embedding of wooden beams (fig. 16) or profiled irons (fig. 17) with a view to supporting floors or ceilings.
To achieve -flat areas, for example floors, the various types of construction described can be made in combination with elements of hollow slabs 15, as shown in fig. 9. These elements are juxtaposed by parallel rows with joints offset from those of the elements constituting the walls. The corrugated faces of the slabs constitute a formwork in which are arranged the reinforcements 16 and the concrete filling of the floor beams. The slabs 15 are themselves reinforced in their upper part, so that the projecting ends of their irons can be connected to the reinforcements 16 of the beams.
It is thus possible to establish a floor that can directly receive a parquet floor, all types of tiles, etc. without it being necessary to have recourse to expensive timbering or coffering to support these flat areas during construction, given that the slabs 15 constitute between them, as has just been said, the mold necessary for the making of reinforced concrete beams.
