Le micro-indicateur représenté comprend un carter 1 formé de deux parties fixées l'une à l'autre par des vis et dans lequel est disposé un bâti 2. Celui-ci est formé d'un culot 2a et de deux flasques, à section droite en segment de cercle, 2b et 2c; entre ces flas ques sont disposés deux mobiles; l'un, 6, en acier doux, présente des tourillons 3 en acier dur tournant clans des pierres 4, portées par des chatons 5 montés eux-mêmes dans les flasques 2b et 2c; sur le mobile 6 sont fixés une tablette 7, en pierre synthétique, par exemple en saphir, et un secteur denté 8; le second mobile 9 tourne également dans des pierres 10 tenues dans des chatons 11 les quels sont portés par les flasques 2b et 2c;
Mier o-indieatenr o The object of the present invention is a micro-indicator of the type of those comprising a frame in which can slide, against a return spring, a frame provided with a feeler and bearing a knife which acts on a tablet, which can rotate around an axis of the frame and communicate its movement to an indicator needle carried by this frame.
This micro-indicator is charac terized in that the knife and the tablet are located at the upper part, and the axis of the needle, -Û, the lower part, of the frame, in which the transmission device is placed. of the movement of the tablet at the needle, and in that the dial is fixed on the frame and centered on the axis of the needle.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a front elevational view thereof; the thread-. 2 is a horizontal section through II-II of FIG. 1; the fib. 3 and 4 are two vertical sections through III-III respectively IV-IV of fig. 2.
The micro-indicator shown comprises a housing 1 formed of two parts fixed to each other by screws and in which is disposed a frame 2. The latter is formed of a base 2a and two flanges, with section line in segment of a circle, 2b and 2c; between these flanges ques are arranged two mobile; one, 6, in mild steel, has hard steel journals 3 rotating clans stones 4, carried by chatons 5 themselves mounted in the flanges 2b and 2c; on the mobile 6 are fixed a shelf 7, synthetic stone, for example sapphire, and a toothed sector 8; the second mobile 9 also rotates in stones 10 held in chatons 11 which are carried by the flanges 2b and 2c;
the indicator needle 12 and the pinion 13 in engagement with the toothed sector 8 are integral with this mobile on which also acts the return spring 14. The dial 15 on which the needle 12 moves is centered on the axis of this needle and fixed to the flange 2c by screws 26; once mounted, this dial maintains the chatons 5 and 11 in said flange; the other two chatons mounted in the flange 2b are held in position by an elastic plate 16 screwed by a screw 17 to the flange and each end of which bears on one of said chatons.
In the free space arranged between the flanges ques 2b and 2c can slide, against a spring 18, a frame 19 at the lower end of which the probe 20 is fixed; the lower side of this frame passes below the mobile 9 and the upper side above the mobile 6; in addition, this frame contains the toothed sector 8; on the upper side of the frame is fixed by screws 21 a plate 22 por as a knife 23 which passes through a. hole made in this edge, and the edge 24 of which rests on the aforementioned shelf 7, at a certain distance from the axis of rotation of the latter.
When the probe 20 is walked on an uneven surface, this probe -and the frame goes up and down. The tablet 7, applied against the edge of the knife 23 by the spring 14, follows the movements of this edge, which causes the sector 8 and consequently the needle to oscillate. It is good that. movements of the latter are limited in both directions. They are, in a sense, by the screw 17, already mentioned, the end of which penetrates into an opening 25 .du sector 6, an opening of which one of the walls abuts, fully in travel, against the screw.
In the other direction, the travel of the needle is limited by the adjustable screw 27 screwed into the frame and the head of which can abut against the wall of the frame; holes 28 made in the head of this screw allow it to be turned slightly in one direction or the other.
Likewise, it is important for the precision of the measurement, that the edge 24 of the knife is well parallel to the axis of the shaft 3. To adjust this parallelism with precision, provision has been made in the frame, two adjustable screws 29 parallel to this axis and whose heads, pierced with holes similar to those of the screw head 27, abut against the walls of the frame By slightly screwing one of these screws and slightly unscrewing the other , the angular position of the frame is varied by a small amount.
In the construction described above, the mo bile 6 is located at the upper part of the frame and the mobile 9 at the lower part. The device for transmitting movement from the first mobile to the second, formed by the sector 8 and the pinion 13, is also located in the frame, between these two mobile units, which limits the space occupied by all this mechanism to a minimum. In addition, the dial is fixed directly to the frame; the housing therefore does not carry any specific component, which means that all the adjustment can be carried out before placing the frame in the housing. Finally, the neck is carried by the plate 22 which is exterior to the frame. It will therefore be easy to adjust the position of this knife before fully tightening screws 21.,,
