Will man den Ausgleich der Fadenzüge über die ganze Kötzerhöhe bezw. Spindel länge konstant halten, so lässt sich das ein mal so erreichen, däss man die Öse zugleich mit dem Ringrahmen allmählich nach oben verschiebt; oder so, .dass man das Verhältnis der den Garnlagen entsprechenden Hubhöhe h (Fig. 1 und 3) des Ringrahmens zur Hub höhe n der Öse entsprechend verändert;
Process for spinning and twisting on the ring spinning and twisting machine. Ring spinning has various disadvantages compared to self-actuator spinning. The thread tension is unequal, the winding and winding tension are uneven, the twist of the yarn varies, and it cannot be spun on the bare spindle with the ring spinning machine. However, as is well known, the ring spinning machines require much less space than the self-actuators, they are cheaper and can deliver a much larger amount of yarn in the same time.
For this reason, the ring spinning machine is practically preferred, despite the disadvantages mentioned, and the self-actuator is only used to manufacture certain quality yarns.
However, the aim is to remove the disadvantages of ring spinning as far as possible. Above all, attempts have been made to eliminate the inequalities in the thread tension, for example by braking the traveler or by changing the spinning speed, whereby high speed when winding the yarn to a large Kötzer diameter is small speed when winding the yarn to a small Kötzer diameter was adjusted.
According to the invention, another way is taken to compensate for the fluctuations in the thread tension, which consists in the fact that this compensation is brought about by forced variation of the forces exerted by the balloon. It is based on the knowledge that at a constant speed of the spindle, the thread tension is not only dependent on the winding diameter, but also on the height of the balloon. Because .with this change .the centrifugal force and the air friction of the thread section forming the balloon.
In order to achieve this goal, various paths can be followed, one of which should first be developed theoretically. In Fig. 1 and 2 .the drawing a Kötzer with the lower layers of yarn is shown in elevation and plan.
The thread j is fed from the guide eyelet o by the drafting system w, forms the balloon b when the spindle s rotates evenly and accelerates at a speed that is first approximately equal to the difference between the bobbin circumferential speed and the feed speed through the drafting system , runner 1 on the. Ring r with, resulting in kötzer k.
The force by which the rotor 1 is displaced on the ring acts in the tangential direction and is denoted by P. t; it is the tangential component of the thread line between the bobbin and the traveler, which changes between the values pa (inside) and PD (outside) depending on the current diameter of the bobbin.
It can be seen that with constant travel resistance, the thread tension changes between significantly different limits depending on the winding diameter. This thread train is now planted through the runner 1 through onto the balloon b.
Since the centrifugal force of the piece of thread forming the balloon is naturally greater, the less the thread is tensioned and the longer the thread is, the balloon, according to the thread tensions PD, respectively. P d, with the large winding diameter D a more bulged shape b "or with the small winding diameter d a slimmer shape bi.
In addition, one consequence of the changing centrifugal force of the balloon is that the rotor resistance also changes somewhat, so that in FIG. 2 the forces Pt and PD may have approximately the value shown in dashed lines. This consideration now shows the way to carry out the present invention, namely to fulfill the task of constant thread tension.
This can be solved according to Fig. 3 and 4 in such a way that when the thread is wound onto the large diameter D of the kötzers the balloon is enlarged in such a way that the increased centrifugal force of the piece of thread forming the balloon increases the friction and thereby the thread train is also increased accordingly. The periodic enlargement of the balloon can be brought about by periodically moving up the guide eye o.
According to this, a device must be provided on the spinning machine through which the guide eyelet o is moved up and down in the opposite direction to the ring frame between points I and II in the cycle of winding up, for example by the guide eyelets, just like the rings, on one together, up and down movable frame can be attached. It can then be achieved that PD = Pa, as shown in FIG. 4, so that the thread tension remains constant.
The fact that the force Pt acting on the traveler also changes between the limit values Pti and Pta does not play a role in the course of the spinning process. However, this improves the quality of the yarn considerably.
On the one hand, the given height of the spinning machine, on the other hand, the given distance from the spindles offers a limit to a too great upward movement. However, the difference in height between the two eyelet bearings can be increased by moving the lowest eyelet position down to the most possible limit, for example according to point III. It is also not necessary for the eyelet movement to run exactly in the opposite direction to the movement of the ring frame, rather the movements can have a certain phase shift from one another.
If you want to balance the strands over the entire Kötzerhöhe or. Keeping the spindle length constant, this can be achieved by gradually moving the eyelet upwards at the same time as the ring frame; or so, .that the ratio of the lifting height h corresponding to the yarn layers (FIGS. 1 and 3) of the ring frame to the lifting height n of the eye is changed accordingly;
or finally in such a way that the ring and eyelet only perform constant oscillating movements, but let the spindle s with the Kötzer k slowly wander downwards. Furthermore, the stroke ratio h: n can be changed in such a way that the thread tension between the runner and Kötzer is balanced, or that it is balanced between the drafting system and the eyelet, or finally that these two thread courses are balanced .
It is not always necessary and also not always possible to completely compensate for the threads; The invention naturally also allows an approximate or partial compensation.
Achieving a uniform twist of the yarn does not go hand in hand with the compensation of the thread tension. Special funds are still required for this. Since the thread turns once around itself with one revolution of the traveler, a certain fraction of a twist occurs during spinning on the empty tube of diameter d on a section of yarn of length d ic and the same fraction of a twist during spinning on the full tube of diameter D onto a section of yarn of length D ic. Because of the elasticity,
of the thread, a certain compensation takes place over the entire length between the Kötzer and the drafting system, but the differences are not completely eliminated. If one wants to bring out these irregularities as well, this can be achieved according to a further embodiment of the invention by changing the spinning speed in the opposite direction to the diameter of the bag. This is expediently done with the help of one of the known automatic spin regulators. You can even take the conical shape of the spindle into account by setting the spin regulator so that the ratio of the speeds decreases with increasing Kötzer height according to dID.
The combination of this speed control makes it possible to spin on thinner bobbin tubes, even on the bare spindle, and to produce bobbins similar to the self-actuator cop while keeping the thread or thread. Winding tension and even yarn twist. If a spinning regulator is provided, it can of course also be used to make the known arrangements and to create the most favorable speed ratios not only for the even part of the kötz but also for the piecing and the kötzer tip.
