Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines starkbasischen Porphins. Das vorliegende Verfahren betrifft die Darstellung eines starkbasischen Porphins und ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Phylloporphyrin mit Diäthylaminoäthanol behandelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 1 gr Phylloporphyrin wird im Heizbad mit 5 cmg Diäthylaminoäthanol 5-6 Stunden lang auf<B>1550</B> erhitzt. Es tritt quantitative Umsetzung zu einem starkbasischen Porphin ein. Das Produkt kristallisiert beim Erkalten in grossen prismatischen Nadeln aus und wird durch Umkristallisieren aus einem Gemisch von Chloroform und Diäthylaminoäthanol mit einem korr. Schmelzpunkt von 210 erhalten. Zur Analyse wurde das mehrfach umkristalli sierte neue Porphin im Hochvakuum bei 250 zur Gewichtskonstanz getrocknet.

42 % Das neue starkbasische Porphin stellt einen dunkelrotbraunen Farbstoff dar, dessen Basizität so gross ist, dass er einer ätherischen Lösung mit beliebig schwachen Säuren quan titativ entnommen werden kann. Die Lösung seiner Salze mit starken Säuren in Wasser reagiert neutral und zeigt Neutralspektrum. Die Analyse bestätigt das Vorliegen eines von Phylloporphyrin verschiedenen neuen Porphins.
