Der erhaltene Farbstoff besitzt folgende Konstitution: Er löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure blau, in Wasser nach Zusatz von Natriumacetat ebenfalls blau und gibt als Chromlack gedruckt wesentlich blauere Töne als Gallocyanin. Beispiel ?- i Mo1. Gallamid wird in analoger Weise wie in Beispiel i mit i1[2 Mol. Nitrosobutylphenylamino-ß-oxypropan-y-sulfosäure kondensiert.
