Einriehtung zum Wenden falschliegender Zigaretten bei ihrer Zufährung zur Packmaschine init Hflfe eines init der Naht der Zigarette in Eingriff kommenden Fühlorganes. E,;
Device for turning incorrectly positioned cigarettes when they are fed to the packing machine with the aid of a sensing element that engages with the seam of the cigarette. E ,;
It is already known to use sensors, latches or the like to turn incorrectly lying cigarettes into the mirror position when they are transferred from the cigarette machine to the packing machine, which come with the seam and through which the cigarette comes into contact.
stationary movement make an electrical contact or otherwise set a device in motion that causes the cigarettes to turn.
According to the invention, which relates to such a device, the sensing element is arranged on a carrier which is pivotably arranged at the end of the sensing element and which, when the sensing element engages with a seam as a result of the relative movement of the sensing element and cigarette is pivoted about its pivot point and thereby the activation of the reversing device acts.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 is a side view of the part of the device in question, while FIG. 2 is an individual illustration of the sensor head on a larger scale.
In the drawing, a is the feeding device for the cigarettes, which preferably consists of side members. The chain runs on one side over a chain wheel b; the chain wheel on the other side is not shown. The individual cigarettes lie in troughs in the chains and pass between profiled rollers c and d, the circumferential speed of which corresponds to the feed movement of the chain a.
In addition, the two rollers c and d have the same circumferential speed, so that the successive cigarettes conveyed by the chain a, one after the other, between troughs of the rollers c which complement each other to form a full tube and d are held. While the cigarette is held in the manner indicated, the feeler engages it.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, a lever e is provided as the sensor lever, which is articulated on a lever so that it can swing about a pin f; the latter is pivoted about a pin h to one end of a double lever i, which swings about a pin k on the machine frame and the other free end of which carries a stop tube m which is placed against the machine frame. The lever g carries a roller g ' and is moved by a spring n so that the roller g' moves against the circumference of a still disc or the like lays.
The lever e carries a roller e ', which in turn is held against the circumference of a cam disk q by a spring p. The cam disks each have four cams and they must rotate with such a number of revolutions that when conveying each one cigarette, the two disks rotate a quarter turn, that is by one cam pitch. At the front end of the sensor lever e, the support s for the actual sensor is attached to be pivotable about a pin r.
A spring t, which grips on the one hand on the carrier s, on the other hand on the lever e, holds the carrier s in the rest position shown in FIG. The sensor holder u is attached to the carrier s so as to be pivotable about a pin v; it is held in the working position shown in FIG. 2 by a spring iv. The actual sensor x can be designed in a manner known per se as a leaf spring or, as has also already been proposed, in the form of a brush or the same.
It is covered by a glow plate, which is too rounded at the bottom so that it rests on the top of the cigarette and serves to adjust the sensor according to the different heights of the cigarette seams . A contact carrier z is also attached to the carrier s of the sensor, the free end of which can engage with a contact piece e 'when the carrier s is rotated.
The mode of operation of the device is therefore as follows: During the forward movement of the conveyor device a with the cigarettes, the disks c and d rotate at the same time moderate peripheral speed ; they grasp the cigarette to be scanned. During the time the cigarette is being held by rollers c and d, the feeler comes into engagement with it. The two cam disks o and q cause the sensor to move back and forth due to the oscillation of the lever g and an upward and downward movement due to the oscillation of the lever e offset.
The movement is regulated in such a way that, after the scanned cigarette has passed, the sensor first goes up, in that the roller e 'jumps off the relevant cam of the disc q; then the feeler begins to approach the cigarette again by swiveling the lever e around the peg f in the clockwise direction due to the rising notches.
During this movement, the roller g ' jumps off its associated cam, as a result of which the lever e makes g about the pin k </ B through the oscillation of the lever > counterclockwise a movement to the right in Fig. 1, so that the sensor reaches the next cigarette, and then a slow backward movement of the lever g and thus the begins Lever e and during this time the scanning of the cigarette takes place. The sensor thus moves alternately back and forth and up and down at the same time through the drawn device.
If the sensor comes into engagement with a seam, the relative movement of the sensor lever e and the cigarette causes the individual sensor head to be swung around the 9 pin r until, the contact lever - hits the electrical contact r # strikes and thereby the movement to reverse the cigarette in question moves. The sliding plate y has placed itself on the cigarette before the sensor is surrounded.
Since the sensor is always moved towards the cigarette at the same height, the sliding plate y is used to compensate for any differences in height on the cigarette, and the sensor is properly engaged with the Bring seam. The resilience of the sensor x through the spring w is advantageous because the sensor can adapt to the strength of the cigarette sen or can evade any opposing stalls.
As soon as the contact is closed and the reversing device is engaged, the roller g 'drops from the elevation of the cam disk o, and as a result the feeler quickly moves back so that it leaves the seam and is immediately afterwards raised.
Then the process starts all over again, meaning that the fountain pen falls down again and is moved towards the next incoming cigarette by the cam disk. The adjusting screw m is used to correctly adjust the movement of the sensor by means of rocker lever g and sensor lever e by setting the swing axis.
The device described ensures a particularly favorable engagement of the sensor with the seam while protecting the cigarette. Furthermore, a reliable closure of the control contact and / or. a safe release of the turning device is guaranteed.
