Support à crémaillère. La présente invention a pour objet un support à crémaillère, par exemple pour tra vaux de construction en tous genres, notam ment pour plafonnages.
Le support suivant l'invention comporte un trépied de base formé de trois pieds en fers à<B>T.</B> Il est caractérisé en ce que l'un des pieds en fer à<B>T</B> du trépied est prolongé pour former le montant du support contre lequel coulisse la crémaillère, également en fer à<B>T,</B> les deux autres pieds étant reliés au premier par l'intermédiaire de plaquettes soudées de manière à permettre le passage de la crémaillère entre ces pieds.
La crémaillère peut être reliée au mon tant du support par au moins un collier en forme de<B>C</B> venant, par ses bords d'extré mité, porter contre l'âme du fer à<B>T</B> du montant.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du support suivant l'invention. Fig. 1 est une vue en élévation du sup port à crémaillère; Fig. 2 en est une vue en coupe, à plus grande échelle, par ,A-B de fig. 1; Fig. 3 en est une vue en coupe, à plus grande échelle, par C-D de fig. 1; Fig. 4 est une vue de face d'un collier.
Le support se compose d'un trépied formé de trois pieds 1, 2 et 3 formés chacun d'un fer à<B>T.</B> Le pied 1 se prolonge verticalement pour former le montant du support contre lequel coulisse la crémaillère 4, formée éga lement d'un fer à T, et portant à sa partie supérieure un étrier 5 fixe ou mobile.
Les pieds 2 et 3 sont reliés au pied 1 (fig. 1 et 2) par l'intermédiaire de plaquettes 6 soudées respectivement, par soudure exté rieure, aux pieds 1 et 2 ou 3. Grâce à cette disposition, la crémaillère 4 peut descendre entre les pieds du support jusqu'à toucher le sol.
La crémaillère 4 est, d'autre part, reliée au montant 1 du support par un collier 7 (fig. 1, 3 et 4), fixé aux ailes de la crémail lère, recourbé de manière â passer à une certaine distance des bords des ailes de la crémaillère 4 et du montant 1, et portant par ses extrémités 7' contre l'âme l' du montant 1. Les bords des extrémités 7' de ce collier seront, de préférence, arrondis (fig. 4) de manière à porter d'une manière plus exacte contre l'âme du montant. .
Cette disposition présente un sérieux avantage sur celle employée jusqu'ici et qui consistait à enserrer avec ce collier les bords des ailes de la crémaillère et du montant. Les fers à<B>T</B> du commerce n'ont jamais, en effet, des dimensions d'ailes rigoureusement égales; on est donc obligé de prévoir, en réalité, un jeu important entre le collier et les bords des ailes, ce qui tend à produire un flottement de la crémaillère. Au contraire, l'âme des fers à<B>T</B> du commerce a une épais seur toujours constante à moins d'un milli mètre près, ce qui permet aux bords d'extré mité 7' du collier 7 de porter toujours très exactement contre cette âme.
Enfin, le collier rond représenté en fig.8 et 4 est plus facile à fabriquer que les col liers carrés ordinaires enserrant les bords des ailes du montant et de la crémaillère.
A sa partie supérieure, la crémaillère 4 est reliée au montant 1 par l'étrier de sou tien 8 articulé en 8' sur le montant 1 et venant en prise avec les dents de la cré maillère 4.

The feet 2 and 3 are connected to the foot 1 (fig. 1 and 2) by means of plates 6 welded respectively, by external welding, to the feet 1 and 2 or 3. Thanks to this arrangement, the rack 4 can descend. between the support feet until touching the ground.
The rack 4 is, on the other hand, connected to the upright 1 of the support by a collar 7 (fig. 1, 3 and 4), fixed to the wings of the 1st rack, curved so as to pass at a certain distance from the edges of the wings of the rack 4 and of the upright 1, and carrying by its ends 7 ′ against the web of the upright 1. The edges of the ends 7 ′ of this collar will preferably be rounded (fig. 4) so as to bear more exactly against the soul of the upright. .
This arrangement has a serious advantage over that employed hitherto and which consisted in enclosing with this collar the edges of the wings of the rack and of the upright. Commercial <B> T </B> irons never have strictly equal wing dimensions; it is therefore necessary to provide, in reality, a significant play between the collar and the edges of the wings, which tends to produce a flutter of the rack. On the contrary, the core of commercial <B> T </B> irons has a thickness that is always constant within a millimeter, which allows the end edges 7 'of the collar 7 to wear. always very exactly against this soul.
Finally, the round collar shown in fig. 8 and 4 is easier to manufacture than the ordinary square collars enclosing the edges of the wings of the upright and of the rack.
At its upper part, the rack 4 is connected to the upright 1 by the support bracket 8 articulated at 8 'on the upright 1 and engages the teeth of the rack 4.
