Bracelet.
Plusieurs formes d'exécution de l'inven tion sont décrites ci-après, à titre d'exemple seulement, en référence au dessin annexé, dans lequel: La fig. 1 est une vue en élévation d'un bracelet à charnière à verrou avec boutons de déverrouillage latéraux; La fig. 2 est une vue en perspective à plus grande échelle d'un même bracelet; Les fig. '3 et 4 représentent deux coupes axiales d'une première forme d'exécution d'une charnière à verrou; Les fïg. 5 et 6, 7 et 8 représentent deux vues similaires aux fig. 3 et 4;
Bracelet. Rigid or semi-rigid bracelets usually wear two branehes articulated one on the other by means of a hinge and held in the closed position by a clasp. A safety chain also links the two elements of the clasp.
This arrangement has the drawbacks: a certain lack of aesthetics, the difficulty which one experiences with one hand in opening or closing them and finally the difficulty of adapting the bracelet to the. dimension of the wrist, which can only be done by modifying the length of the bracelet or the position of the clasp.
The present invention relates to a bracelet composed of at least two rigid or semi-rigid elements, articulated at a hinge. According to the invention, this hinge is provided with a lock which makes it possible, depending on its position, to stiffen the assembly or, on the contrary, to separate the two parts of the bra celet from one another.
Several embodiments of the invention are described below, by way of example only, with reference to the appended drawing, in which: FIG. 1 is an elevational view of a hinged latch bracelet with side release buttons; Fig. 2 is a perspective view on a larger scale of the same bracelet; Figs. '3 and 4 show two axial sections of a first embodiment of a latch hinge; The fïg. 5 and 6, 7 and 8 represent two views similar to FIGS. 3 and 4;
Fig. 9 is a perspective view of a wristwatch with a hinged lock; Figs. 10, 11 ,. 12 and 13 illustrate variants of execution of a hinge lock. The hinged bracelet shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a single hinge with three carriages. The outer cart 30 are integral with a branch 31 of the bracelet and the central knuckle 30a with a second branch 32. As can be seen, the branch 31 is larger than the branch 32 in order to facilitate the closing of the. bracelet.
In fact, the branch 31 is first placed on the arm that it partially envelops, then the branch 32 is brought closer to the first, without it being hampered in its movement.
The wristwatch, represented by FIG. 9, is of the same type as the previous one. The large branch 32 carries a watch 33. The articulation hinge 34 of the branches is disposed on one side of the watch; on the other side is provided a false hinge 34f: I1 it is obvious that a latch hinge could also exist at this location. To adapt the bracelet to the size of the wrist, it suffices to make a slight deformation of the branches 31 and 32.
The hinges mounted on the bracelets forming the subject of the invention are preferably of the type with automatic locking and unlocking controlled by movement of operating buttons.
The bracelets represented by FIGS. 1, 2 and 9 have locking hinges of the split axis type. Figs. 10, 11, 12 and 13 represent variant embodiments of locking.
In the example of execution of hinges of FIGS. 3, and 4, two groups of carts are mounted on the same axis in two elements 1 and 2. Cartwheels 3a, 4a, 5a belong to one of the elements connected by the hinge; the carriages 6b and 7b belong to the other element.
The element 2 of the axis is permanently fixed to the wheelwright 5a by means of a diametral screw 8, while the element 1 of the same axis is angularly connected to the wheelwright 6b by engaging a radial finger 9 in a longitudinal groove 10 of the wheelwright 6b.
A spring 11 interposed between the element 1 and a base of the wheelwright 3a recalls the two opposite ends of the elements 1 and 2 of the axle towards each other. These two ends are respectively provided with a dia métral tenon 14 and a mortise 15 which are engaged for a relative angular position of the two groups of cart (position of worm rusting). It is in fact impossible to make the two parts connected by the hinge move when the two elements 1 and 2 of the axis are engaged as shown in FIG. 1.
To unlock, it suffices to pull outward a button 12, connected by a rod 13 to the element 1, to compress the spring 11 and release the tenon 14 from the mortise 15. The two groups of carts are free to move. move and take, for example, the relative positions which they occupy in FIG. 4.
The example of fig. 5 and 6 differ from the previous one only in that the traction button 12 of FIGS. 1 and 2 is replaced by a push button 12a whose rod 13a passes through an axial bore of the axle element 2 and is fixed by screwing on the element 1. The spring 11 is supported on a base 11a fixed to the wheelwright by all appropriate means. The same reference signs designate the same organs or organs which correspond to each other in FIGS. 2 to 6.
In fig. 6, the harnesses 6b and 7b have moved 90 degrees from the position they occupy in FIG. 5.
In the example of execution of FIGS. 7 and 8, the unlocking takes place by bringing together by pressure two buttons 12a and 12b. The button 12a acts on a rod which passes freely through the axis element and is fixed by screwing on a slide guided in a bore lb of the axis element 1. A diametral finger 9 of the slide passes through two grooves lengthwise. dinals 1d and 10, which belong to axis element 1 and wheelwright 6b respectively. A radial finger 16 of the axis element 2 is guided in a longitudinal groove of the wheelwright 4a.
It can be seen that the group of knuckles 3a, 4a, 5a is angularly secured to the axis element 2, while the group 6b and 7b is secured to the element 1. Two radial pins 14, provided on the slide. 1a, as onent the locking when engaged in corresponding mortises 15 of the axle element 2. A spring 11 acts to constantly urge the opposite ends of the axle elements 1 and 2 towards each other. and the slide.
The operation is as follows: FIG. 7 shows the rusting worm position. If one acts with the fingers to bring the two buttons 12a and 12b closer together by compressing the spring 11, the axis element 1 and 2 and the slider lai are brought into the positions which they occupy in FIG. . 8, the te nons 14 are released from the mortises 1.5 and unlocking is performed.
The passage from the locked position to the unlocked position can be examined in two successive phases: 1o Acting on the button 12a, the axis elements 1 and 2 remaining fixed, the slide 1a is moved from the distance
EMI0003.0007
to the left, d being the depth of engagement of the tenons 14 in the mortises 15.
By acting on the button 12b, while the button 12a and the slider 1a are kept fixed, the two axis elements 1 and 2 move by
EMI0003.0008
to the right, which completes the release of the tenons 14 of. mortai his 15.
Another embodiment of a rusting worm is shown in FIGS. 10, 11, 12 and 1.3.
In the device shown in fig. 10 and 11, bare axis 3; 5 is integral with the central knuckle 30a belonging to the branch 31 and moves in rotation, when opening or closing the bracelet, in the external carts 30 </ B> united with branch 32.
A locking bolt 36, provided with a button 38a, can move in a housing 37 of the watch case, in antagonism with a return spring 3! 8.
The axis 35 has a diametral hole 39 into which the bolt penetrates for locking, under the action of the spring 38. To turn the bracelet or twist, it is absolutely necessary to move the bolt 36.
In the variant embodiment represented by FIGS. 12 and 13, the bolt 36 is mounted in the branch 31. The axis 35 is wedged in the external carriages 30 and moves in rotation in the central knuckle 3.0a.
The bracelets can receive any decoration and be made of any material.
