Dishwasher. The invention relates to a dishwasher in which shower pipes are IN ANY that graze alternately to and fro about their longitudinal axis, such that the direction of the water jets with respect to the; Job is constantly changing.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 in longitudinal section.
The dishwasher shown in FIG. 1 has a box-shaped frame with an elongated lower part 1 which is closed on all sides and an upper part 2 which is closed on both longitudinal sides and which is closed at the top and open at both ends. The upper end of the lower part 1 is formed by an endless traveling grate 3, which runs over rollers 4 and 5. The roller 5 is driven by means of chain gears 6, 7, 8 from a transmission gear 9, which receives its drive fully from an electric motor 10 from means of chain gears 11.
The motor 10 drives a centrifugal pump 12, the suction line 13 of which is connected to a tub 14 and the pressure line 15 of which is connected to two rows of horizontal shower pipes 16 and 17 that are spaced apart from one another (not shown. This connection cannot be achieved by means of one At some distance from the shower tubes 16 and 17 for the lye are two tubes 18 and 19 for rinsing the dishes lying on the upper run of the traveling grate using rinse water, each at the same height as the tubes 16 and 17 arranged.
The flushing water shower pipes are fed by a hot water boiler that is not shown. The lower shower tubes 16 and 18 are arranged between the two strands of the traveling grate 3 to. All shower tubes are mounted in the longitudinal walls of the frame 1, 2 so that they can rotate about their longitudinal axis, lying transversely to the direction of movement of the grate. The upper shower tubes are provided on the lower side and the lower shower tubes on the upper side with one or more rows of holes for the flushing liquid to exit.
So that the direction of the jets of liquid emerging from the holes in the shower tubes with respect to the work site, that is to say on the upper run of the traveling grate, is continuously changed, all shower tubes are rotated back and forth at the same time. For this purpose, all shower tubes are connected to each other by arms 20 and connecting rods 2L, 22, 23 attached to them and the tube 18 'rods 24 by a crank,
25 with a crank pin of the chain wheel 6 in motion connection. When using the machine described, the pre-cleaned dishes are placed on the left on the traveling grate 3 rotating in the direction of the arrow, which moves it through between the lower and upper shower pipes. The dishes are first sprayed by the exiting from 16 and 17 Larige rays and afterwards by the rays of hot, pure water exiting from 18 and 19. Lye and water are caught by a drip tray 26 under the traveling grate and passed into the container 14.
At. the Ausfüh approximate form of the dishwasher shown in Fig. 2, the pre-cleaned dishes to be sprayed with lye and pure water not on an endless traveling grate through the upper part 2 open at both ends continuously through ge, but by means of a basket 30 inserted into the upper part 2 . To accommodate the basket 30, fixed longitudinal rods 31 are used on the upper edge of the lower part.
Since the basket remains in place while the dishes are hosed down, the rinsing water shower pipes 18 and 19 are arranged below or above the shower pipes 16 and 17 for spraying with lye between two of the latter pipes offset by half the pipe spacing. The lower tubes 16 and 18 are connected to one another by means of the rod 21 'and the upper tubes 17 and 19 by means of the rod 23'. The rod 22 couples the outermost tube on the right, 16 ', to the corresponding tube 17, that is to say above it.
The crank linkage 29, 25 transmits its movement given by the transmission gear 9 to the last tube 18, from which all shower tubes are rotated back and forth at the same time. The shower tubes 16 and 17 for the lye are in connection with the riser 15 of the pump 12 and the tubes 18 and 19 with the line 32 coming from the hot water boiler. Otherwise, the same reference numerals denote the same parts as in the above-described example.
When using the dishwasher according to FIG. 2, after the insertion of a basket filled with dishes in the upper part 2, the pump 12 is put into operation, while the line 32 is initially closed. After the dishes have been sufficiently rinsed with lye, the pump 12 is switched off or switched over and the line 32 is then opened, whereby the dishes are still completely rinsed with pure hot water.
Due to the back and forth rotating movement of the shower tubes, the direction of the caustic and water jets is continuously changed in both of the embodiments described; so that the dishes are splashed in different directions at the same point, whereby a particularly effective cleaning of the dishes is achieved.
In both of the described Ausführungsfor men, the taps or valves of the supply lines to the shower pipes for lye and spray water can be connected to one another in such a way that the other line is opened when one line is closed. The machine can also be set up with just a shower head for washing dishes with pure water.
