Construction. The present invention relates to a construction, for example a wall made of concrete studs or bricks.

<tb> from <SEP> part <SEP> to <SEP> part. <SEP> This <SEP> plot, <SEP> employee <SEP> with <SEP> of
<tb> <SEP> pads represented <SEP> in <SEP> fig.4, <SEP> can <SEP> serve <SEP> to <SEP> for carrying out a construction according to the invention.
In the embodiment of FIG. 4, the stud has, in addition to that of the first embodiment, a half-channel 14 and two half-channels 15 formed in one of the opposite flat assembly faces 16 of the stud. These half-channels 15 connect three of the cavities 10 to each other and the half-channel 14 connects one of these cavities with the face 11. When pads of this shape are placed on each other having their faces 16 in contact, the half-channels 15 may come opposite each other -and form-complete channels connecting part of the cavities 10 to each other.
As a result, in a finished construction there is a network of conduits communicating with each other inside it.
When the cavities 10 of superimposed studs are aligned, those open at their two ends form vertical conduits 13 (FIG. 5), which are connected by horizontal -channels 15. It will be noted that in certain cases, the channels 14 and 15 can only be formed by half-channels. In all cases, however, a complete network of vertical channels 13 will be formed. It is thus possible to form a construction according to the invention by exclusively using studs according to FIG. 4.
In the construction shown in FIG. 5, the major part of the studs are those of the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 3, only the pads of the lower row 20 correspond to the embodiment of FIG. 4. The half-channels 14 and 15 of this row thus place the network of pipes at its lower part in communication with the air. In the construction shown, the studs are assembled with binder 22, the channels 14 communicate with the interior of the building to which said construction belongs. The pipes 13 remain open at their upper ends.
A beam 23 rests on the upper row 21 of wall studs and carries a roof 24. This beam 23 only occupies the part of the wall corresponding to the cavities 10 blocked at one end. The network is open at its upper part and an air flow can be established by convection inside the wall, as shown in arrows 25, this air passing from the interior to the exterior of the building. .
In the two embodiments of the stud, the two assembly faces 17 and 18 present one a convex projection, the other a shaped depression corresponding to said projection, such that the face 17 of an element fits exactly into the face 18 of an adjacent element and the cavities 12 are thus completed. The protrusion and recess of the faces 17 and 18 will preferably be given a circular cylindrical shape, leaving on these faces flat bands 19 facilitating the exact positioning of the elements with respect to one another.
In each of the embodiments, between each flat strip 19 and the adjacent projection or recess, there is a groove 26 extending over the entire height of the stud. These grooves 26 are intended, once the studs have been brought together, to form cavities into which the binder can be poured. The filling of these contiguous cavities is preferably carried out using an apparatus formed of a funnel in which a rod constituting a piston moves. Place the mouth of the funnel at the top of the cavity. filling and pressing on the rod expels the binder under pressure into the cavity. A return spring returns the rod to its rest position. The operation is repeated as many times as necessary to fill the adjoining cavities.
The air circulation in the wall has the great advantage of constantly drying the construction. Ordinary concrete stud walls are very easily wet and this serious drawback is avoided in walls constructed according to the invention. In addition, by using only studs such as the one shown in fig.4, air circulation is effected throughout the thickness of the wall by a network of vertical and horizontal channels.
The channels 14, instead of being provided only at the lower part of the wall, could also be provided at the upper part of the latter, being directed on either side of the wall or all opening out onto the wall. same face of the wall, either outside or inside the building. Variations can thus be made to the operating regime of the air circulation, according to the needs and the conditions in which the construction is located.
Thanks to the circular cylindrical shape of the projections and recesses of the faces 17 and 18, it is possible, by cutting down one of the angles between the grooves 26 and the faces 11, to place two adjacent elements so that they form an angle one compared to each other. This makes it possible to build, with these elements, not only flat walls, but also curved walls such as those of a circular tower, a bow window, etc.
In addition, the penetration of the rounded faces 17 into the faces 18, keeps the studs assembled to each other, in that a traction exerted on one of the studs, tending to make it come out of the wall, is transmitted to the studs. neighbors.
