Description

  

  Verfahren     zur        Darstellung        eines        Nüpenfarbstoffes.       Im Hauptpatent Nr. 151329 ist ein Ver  fahren zur Darstellung eines wertvollen     Kü-          penfarbstoffes    angegeben, bei dem man den  nach dem Patentanspruch des Schweiz. Pa  tentes Nr. 143990 aus dem Kondensations  produkt aus     N-Dibydro-1.    2 : 2'. 1'-     anthrachi-          nonazin    und Formaldehyd erhältlichen Farb  stoff mit einem chlorierend wirkenden Mittel  bis zur Aufnahme von etwa 2 Atomen Chlor  behandelt.  



  Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man in ana  loger Weise einen wertvollen     Küpenfarbstoff     erhalten kann, wenn man den nach dem Pa  tentanspruch des Schweiz. Patentes     Nr.143990     aus dem Kondensationsprodukt aus     N-Dihydro-          1.2.2'.1'-anthrachinonaziti    und Formaldehyd  erhältlichen Farbstoff mit einem     bromierend     wirkenden Mittel bis zur Aufnahme von etwa  20      /o    Brom behandelt.

     Der erhaltene     Farbstoff,    der wahrschein  lich ein Gemisch eines Monobrom- mit einem         Dibromderivat    des als Ausgangsmaterial ver  wendeten Farbstoffes darstellt, färbt Baum  wolle aus grünblauer     Küpe    in Tönen, welche  den mit dem Ausgangsmaterial hergestellten  sehr ähnlich sind, sich von ihnen jedoch durch  wesentlich bessere     Chlorechtbeit    unterscheiden.    <I>Beispiel</I>  10 Teile des nach der Schweiz. Patent  schrift Nr. 143990 hergestellten und durch  Fällung seiner Lösung in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure mit einer beschränkten Menge  Wasser gereinigten Farbstoffes werden in  330 Teilen Nitrobenzol suspendiert. Die Sus  pension wird nach Zugabe von 10 Teilen  Brom einige Stunden lang auf 150 o C erhitzt.

    Nach dem Erkalten arbeitet man den neuen       Farbstoff    in der üblichen Weise auf.  



  Verwendet man an Stelle von 10 Teilen  Brom nur 5 Teile Brom und fügt dem Re  aktionsgemisch 0,5 Teile Jod zu, so erhält      man einen     Farbstoff,    welcher in seinen Eigen  schaften mit dem gemäss Absatz 1 erhältli  chen     Farbstoff    praktisch übereinstimmt.
