Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Anthanthronderivates. Im Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Anthanthronderivates be schrieben, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man Methoxyanthanthron, das durch Methylieren des nach dem Verfahren des Schweiz. Patentes Nr. 143992 erhältlichen Monooxyanthanthrons erhalten werden kann, mit einem bromierend wirkenden Mittel be handelt.

Der neue Farbstoff löst sich in konzen trierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner Farbe und liefert aus violetter Küpe auf Baumwolle echte blaustichig rote Färbungen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 10 Teile Äthoxyanthanthron werden, in 100 Teilen Nitrobenzol suspendiert, bei 160 C nach Zugabe von 0,1 Teil Jod mit 10 Teilen Brom versetzt und solange unter Rühren bei <B>1600</B> C gehalten, bis kein unverändertes Aus gangsmaterial mehr nachweisbar ist.
