      Verfahren    zur Darstellung eines chlorhaltigen     1.2.6.6-Diphtaloyliiaphtalins.       Gegenstand dieses Patentes ist ein Ver  fahren zur Darstellung eines chlorhaltigen       1.2.5.6-Diphtaloylnaphtalins,    dadurch ge  kennzeichnet, dass man 2' .     2"-Dinitrilo-j'    .     5"-          dichlor-l.5-dibenzoylnaphtalin    mit sauren  Kondensationsmitteln behandelt. Das gelbe  chlorhaltige 1. 2. 5.     6-Diphtaloylnaphtalin    löst  sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure rotorange,  gibt eine braune     Küpe    und schmilzt über  400'.

   Das chlorhaltige 1. 2 . 5 .     6-Diphtaloyl-          naphtalin    ist eine neue Verbindung und soll  als Zwischenprodukt für Farbstoffe dienen.  Als saure Kondensationsmittel kommen in  Frage Schwefelsäure verschiedener Konzen  tration,     Chlorsulfonsäure,    Aluminiumchlorid  und andere.  



  Die Bildung des chlorhaltigen     1.2.5.6-          Diphtaloylriaphtalins    aus dem 2'     2"-Dinitrilo-          :,'        S"-dichlor-1.        5-diberizoylnaphtalin    verläuft  über das     2'.2"-Dicarboxy-5'.5"-dichlor-1.5-          dibenzoylnaphtalin.       <I>Beispiel:</I>  1 Gewichtsteil       chlor-1.5-dibenzöylnaphtaliri    wird in 10 Ge  wichtsteilen 82     o/oiger        Schwefelsäure    gelöst.  Die Lösung wird kurz zum Sieden erhitzt.  Beim Verdünnen mit Wasser fällt das chlor  haltige 1 .2. 5.     6-Diphtaloylnaphtalin    aus.

   Das  gelbe chlorhaltige     1.2.5.6-Diphtaloylnaph-          talin    löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure       otorange,    gibt eine braune     Küpe    und     schmilz     über 400  .
