Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Nüpenfarbstoffes. Gegenstand dieses. Zusatzpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarb- stoffes, welches darin besteht, dass man Benz- anthronyl-bi-pyrazolanthron von der folgen den Formel:

(erhältlich durch Kondensation von 1 M01. Bz-1-6-Dibrombenzanthron mit 2 Mol. Pyra- zolanthron) mittelst Ätzalkali in Gegenwarf von Alkohol bei erhöhter Temperatur, zum Beispiel<B>90-100'</B> C, kondensiert.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Aus 55 Gewichtsteilen Pyrazolanthron wird in 1300 Gewiehsteilen Nitrobenzol in Gegenwart von 35 Gewichtsteilen feinver teilter Pottasche durch ein halbstündiges Verrühren bei zirka<B>190</B> C zunächst das Kalisalz des Pyrazolanthrons gebildet. Dann werden 48,7 Gewichtsteile Dibrombenzan- thron eingetragen und weitere 6 Stunden lang bei Siedetemperatur verrührt.
Nach dem Erkalten wird das erhaltene Kondensa tionsprodukt abfiltriert, mit Nitrobenzol. Alkohol und Wasser gewaschen und getrock net. Es stellt ein gelbbraunes Pulver dar und löst .sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit gelbroter Farbe.
Durch Verschmelzen mit Atzkali in Ge genwart von Alkohol bei. etwa<B>100'</B> C ent- steht aus diesem Zwischenprodukt ein Farb staff, der in trockenem Zustande ein blau violettes Pulver ist. Aus seiner weinroten Lösung in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure fal len beim Verdünnen mit Wasser leuchtend grünblaue Flocken aus. Aus grünstichig blauer alkalischer Hydrosulfitküpe erhält man auf Baumwolle klare grünstichige Blau- f ärbungen.

After cooling, the resulting condensation product is filtered off with nitrobenzene. Alcohol and water washed and dried. It is a yellow-brown powder and dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a yellow-red color.
By fusing with caustic potash in the presence of alcohol. about <B> 100 '</B> C, this intermediate product produces a color staff which, when dry, is a blue-violet powder. From its wine-red solution in concentrated sulfuric acid, bright green-blue flakes fall out when diluted with water. Clear greenish blue dyeings are obtained on cotton from a greenish blue alkaline hydrosulfite vat.
