Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes. Gegenstand dieses Patentes ist ein Ver fahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarb- stoffes, -welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man Naphtoylen-methyl-benzimidazol- peri-dicarbonsäureanhydrid, das durch Kon densation von Naphtoylen-4. 5-diäthylindan- dion-1.8-dicarbonsäureanhydrid mit 4-Me- thyl-1 .
2-diaminobenzol, darauffolgende Auf- spaltung mit Alkali und Oxydation erhält lich ist, mit 1. 2-Diaminobenzol kondensiert. <I>Beispiel</I> Kondensiert man Naphtoylen-methyl-benz- imidazol-peri-dicarbonsäureanhydrid folgen der Formel:

das durch Kondensation von Naphtoylen-4.5- diäthylindandion-1. 8-dicarbonsäureanhydrid mit 4-Methyl-1. 2-diaminobenzol, darauffol gende Aufspaltung mit Alkali und Oxydation erhältlich ist, mit 1. 2-Diaminobenzol, so er hält man einen Farbstoff, der aus olivgrüner Hydrosulfitküpe Baumwolle in roten Tönen anfärbt. Die Echtheitseigenschaften des Farbstoffes sind gut.
Die Kondensation zu dem entsprechenden Farbstoff wird zweckmässig in Lösungsmit teln bezw. Verdünnungsmitteln, wie Eisessig, Nitrobenzol, einem Gemisch von beiden, fer ner zum Beispiel Py ridin, eventuell auch Wasser (im Autoklaven) durchgeführt.
Die Kondensation erfolgt zweckmässig durch Erwärmen auf Temperaturen zwischen 100 C und zirka 130 C.
