Man kocht während 3 Stunden.
Zu einem sich färberisch gleichverhalten den Farbstoffe gelangt man auch, wenn man statt mit den in den Beispielen erwähnten Mitteln die Chromierung mit andern Mitteln durchführt: so zum Beispiel mit Fluorchrom und Natriumsulfit; Chromazetat und Natrium azetat;
Chromsulfat; Natriumbisulfit und Na triumazetat; Fluorchrom; Chromoxalat und Natriumoxalat; Fluorchrom, Chromformiat und Natriumformiat; Chromoxalat und Na triumazetat; Chromsulfat und Alkalisalze organischer Sulfosäuren; Chromsalze organi scher Sulfosäuren und Natriumsulfat.
Process for the preparation of a dye containing Ehrom. It has been found that a real black coloring, easily soluble in water chromium-containing dye is obtained which is absorbed from weakly acidic dye baths on the fiber and can be developed on the fiber by increasing the acidity of the dye bath,
if one uses the dye from the nitrated diazo compound of 1-amino-2-ogy_naphthalene-4-sulfonic acid and β-naphthol in the presence of such amounts of alkali metal ions that neither salt out the dye nor its coloring properties are unfavorable affect, treated in this way with chromium-releasing agents,
that there is at least one chromium atom for each chromable group of the dye molecule. Example 1: 46.2 parts of dye from nitrated 1-diazo-2-oxynaphthalene-4-sulfonic acid and β-naphthol are suspended in 1500 parts of water, with 9 parts of sodium formate and 12.6 parts of anhydrous sodium sulfite and 100 parts of a chromium oxalate sulfate solution containing 9.1 parts of Cr20s are added.
Cook for 3 hours. After this time, all the dye has dissolved. It is then evaporated to dryness in a vacuum, if necessary after the solution has also been filtered off.
The chromium oxalate sulfate solution is prepared as follows: 152 parts of Cr20s in the form of a 12.6% paste are heated to 50-60 with 126 parts of oxalic acid while stirring, then 408 parts by weight of 48% cold sulfuric acid are added to the thin mass , warmed on the water bath until solution and made to 1670 parts.
Example 2: 46.2 parts of the azo dye from nitrated 1-diazo-2-oxynaphthalene-4-sulfonic acid and ß-naphthol are suspended in 660 parts of cold water, 21 parts of sodium formate are dissolved and then with a chromium solution prepared as follows. A chromium paste containing 9.1 parts of Crz0a is digested for about 5 hours with 22.6 parts of oxalic acid, with 14.4 parts of hydrofluoric acid (50%)
mixed and warmed to solution. After adding this chromium solution, the mixture is brought to the boil and boiled for 2--3 hours, after which the chromating solution is evaporated to dryness under vacuum at water bath temperature.
Example 3: 1770 parts of a weakly soda-alkaline paste of the azo dye from the nitrated diazo compound of 1-amino-2-oxyrraphthalin-4-sulfonic acid and ss-Napbtol, the 462 parts of dye, and 216 parts of a Contains a mixture of sodium sulfate and common salt, is added to a solution which consists of 91.2 parts of Crz0s, 180 parts of formic acid (85%) and 6000 parts of water.
The whole thing is stirred for some time, then heated to the boil and refluxed for 21/2 hours. The resulting black-violet solution of the chromium compound is either evaporated to dryness in a vacuum or aasgesalted with common salt. Example 4: 46.2 parts of dye from nitrated 1-diazo-2-oxynaphthalene-4-sulfonic acid and β-naphthol are dissolved by adding 8 parts of sodium hydroxide solution of 30 ° B6 in 1000 parts of water 50 0, add 200 parts of a chromium sulfite solution containing 8.0 parts of CrzOs, and reflux for 3 hours.
After the addition of a further 20 parts of chromium sulfite solution containing 40o CrzO 2, the mixture is boiled for a further 1/2 hour, then filtered and evaporated to dryness in vacuo. The dye obtained dyes wool in real deep black tones and is also suitable for printing on viscose in the presence of chrome stains.
Coloring is the same as that of the dyes if, instead of the agents mentioned in the examples, the chromating is carried out with other agents: for example with fluorochrome and sodium sulfite; Chromium acetate and sodium acetate;
Chromium sulfate; Sodium bisulfite and sodium acetate; Fluorochrome; Chromium oxalate and sodium oxalate; Fluorochrome, chromium formate and sodium formate; Chromium oxalate and sodium acetate; Chromium sulfate and alkali salts of organic sulfonic acids; Chromium salts of organic sulfonic acids and sodium sulfate.
