Description

      Verfahren    zur     Herstellung    eines     chromhaltigen        Farbstoffes       Es     wurde    gefunden, dass man einen echt  blau färbenden, in Wasser leicht löslichen  chromhaltigen Farbstoff, der aus     ,schwach     sauren     Farbbädern.    auf die Faser aufzieht  und durch Verstärken der     Acidität    des  Färbebades auf der Faser     entwickelt    werden  kann, erhält;

  Zu einem sich     färberisch    gleichverhalten  den Farbstoff gelangt man auch,     wenn    man  statt mit dem im Beispiel erwähnten Mittel  die     Chromierung    mit andern Mitteln durch  führt, ;so zum Beispiel mit     Fluorchrom    und       Natriumsulfit;    Chromacetat und     Natrium-          acetat;    Chromsulfat,     Natriumbisulfit    und       Natriumacetat;        Fluorchrom,        Chromoxalat     und     Natriumoxalat;        Fluorchrom,    Chrom  formiat und     Natriumformiat;

          Chromoxalat und Natriumacetat; Chromsulfat und Alkali salze organischer Sulfosäuren; Chromsalze organischer Sulfosäuren und Natriumsulfat.

      Process for the Production of a Chromium-Containing Dye It has been found that a chromium-containing dye which is genuinely blue in color and is easily soluble in water is obtained from weakly acidic dye baths. is absorbed onto the fiber and can be developed on the fiber by increasing the acidity of the dyebath;

   if you use the dye from the diazo compound of 1-amino-2-ogy- naphthalene-4-, sulfonic acid and a-naphthol in the presence of such amounts of alkali metal ions that neither have a salting effect on the dye nor adversely affect its coloring properties , treated with chromium-releasing agents in such a way that at least one atom of chromium occurs for each chromable group of the dye molecule.

  The dye obtained dyes wool in real blue tones and is also suitable for printing on viscose in the presence of chrome stains.

   Example: 42 parts of the dye from diazotized 1-amino-2-oxynaphthalene-4-sulfonic acid and α-naphthol are dissolved in 800 parts of hot water, 13.6 parts of sodium formate and 95 parts a 9% fluorochromium solution containing 8.5 parts of Cr, 03, was added and the mixture was boiled for 3 hours on a reflux condenser. The chromium compound is kept by evaporation of the reaction solution in vacuo.

  The dye also behaves in the same way in terms of color if, instead of the agent mentioned in the example, the chromating is carried out with other agents, such as fluorochromium and sodium sulfite; Chromium acetate and sodium acetate; Chromium sulfate, sodium bisulfite and sodium acetate; Fluorochrome, chromium oxalate and sodium oxalate; Fluorochrome, chromium formate and sodium formate;

          Chromium oxalate and sodium acetate; Chromium sulfate and alkali salts of organic sulfonic acids; Chromium salts of organic sulfonic acids and sodium sulfate.
