Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines stark     basischen        o-Ogynitrosofarbstoffes.       Es     wurde    gefunden, dass ein wertvoller,  stark basischer Farbstoff entsteht, wenn  man die     Nitrosoverbindung    des     2-Naphtol-          7-trimethvlaminoniumchlorids    mit     Ferro-          salzen    behandelt.

           Beispiel:     23,75 kg 2 -     Naphtol    - 7 -     trimethy        lammo-          niumchlorid    werden in 250 Liter Wasser und  13 Liter konzentrierter Salzsäure gelöst und  bei 0   mit einer wässerigen Lösung von  6,9 kg     Natriumnitrit        nitrosiert.    -Die     Nitro-          sierungslösung        wird    mit 14 kg kristallisier  tem     Natriumacetat    versetzt; dazu lässt man  einlaufen eine wässerige Lösung von 14 kg  Eisenvitriol, 28 kg     Natriumacetat    und 5 kg  Essigsäure 40 % .

   Zur     rlbscheidung    versetzt  man die     Lösung    mit 50 kg 50%iger Chlor  zinklauge und 50 kg Kochsalz.    Der nach dem Filtrieren getrocknete  Farbstoff stellt     ein    hellgrünes, in Wasser  leicht- lösliches Pulver dar. Er färbt tan  nierte Baumwolle, Seide oder beschwert:  Seide leuchtend blaugrün an; die Färbung  ist ganz hervorragend licht- und waschecht  und lässt sich rein weiss ätzen.

           Example: 23.75 kg of 2 - naphtol - 7 - trimethylammonium chloride are dissolved in 250 liters of water and 13 liters of concentrated hydrochloric acid and nitrosated at 0 with an aqueous solution of 6.9 kg of sodium nitrite. 14 kg of crystallized sodium acetate are added to the nitro- sizing solution; an aqueous solution of 14 kg of iron vitriol, 28 kg of sodium acetate and 5 kg of 40% acetic acid is allowed to run in.

   To separate the solution, 50 kg of 50% strength chlorine zinc liquor and 50 kg of common salt are added. The dye, which is dried after filtration, is a light green powder that is easily soluble in water. It dyes tan-ned cotton, silk or, if weighted, silk is a bright blue-green; the coloring is extremely lightfast and washable and can be etched in pure white.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines starb basischen o-Oxynitrosofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Nitrosoverbin- dung des 2-Naphtol-7-trimethvlammonium- chlorides mit Ferrosalzen behandelt. Der Farbstoff stellt ein grünes Pulver dar, leicht, löslich in Wasser. Tannierte Baum wolle, Seide oder beschwerte Seide werden leuchtend blaugrün gefärbt; die Färbung ist rein weiss ätzbar, und die Licht- und Wasch echtbeit derselben ist ganz hervorragend.
