Es     wurde    gefunden, dass man einen neuen  metallhaltigen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man  den Farbstoff aus     diazotiertem        4-Chlor-2-          amino-l-phenol    und     f-Naphthylamin    in       Gegenwart    von     Alkalien    mit     kobaltabgeben-          den    Mitteln behandelt.  



  Der metallhaltige Farbstoff löst sich in  Wasser und Natronlauge schwer mit blau  violetter und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure  mit violetter Farbe. Aus der     tiefblauviolett     gefärbten Lösung in     Zapon-    oder     Acetyl-          zelluloselack    erhält man auf geeigneten Un  terlagen tiefschwarze Überzüge von hervor  ragender Lichtechtheit.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  5,95     Gewichtteile    des     Farbstoffes    aus       diazotiertem        4-Chlor-2-amino-l-phenol    und       ss-Naphthylamin    werden in 500 Teilen Was  ser und 5 Teilen Natronlauge von 36       B6     aufgekocht und mit einer aus 2,38 Teilen  kristallisiertem     Kobaltchlorür    und der nöti  gen Menge Natronlauge erhaltenen Kobalt-         ogydhydratsuspension    einige Zeit am Rück  flusskühler zum Kochen erhitzt.

   Hierauf,  wird die vollständig ausgeschiedene     Kobalt-          verbindung    des Farbstoffes     abfiltriert,    aus  gewaschen und getrocknet.

Der metallische Farbstoff löst sich in Wasser und Natronlauge schwer mit blau violetter und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit violetter Farbe.
