  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum     Hauptpatent    Nr. 141535.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     metallhaltigen    Farbstoffe.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen  metallhaltigen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man den       Farbstoff    aus dianotiertem     4-Chlor-2-amino-l-          phenol    und     f-Naphthol    mit der Suspension  einer Verbindung des dreiwertigen Eisens  behandelt.  



  Der     gebildeteFarbstoff    bildet ein tiefbraun  gefärbtes Pulver, das in Wasser und Natron  lauge sehr schwer löslich ist; in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure löst es sich mit rotvioletter  Farbe. Aus der tiefbraun gefärbten Lösung  in     Zaponlack    erhält man auf Metallfolien  braunschwarze Überzüge von sehr guter Licht  echtheit.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  5,97 Gewichtsteile des Farbstoffes aus  dianotiertem     4-Chlor-2-amino-l-phenol    und       ss-Naphthol    werden in 500 Teilen Wasser auf  gekocht und mit einer 1,2 Teilen Eisen ent  sprechenden Menge einer frisch gefällten und  neutral gewaschenen     Ferrihydroxydsuspension       einige Zeit am     Rückflusskühler    zum Sieden  erhitzt. Nach dem Erkalten wird der abge  schiedene     Farbstoff        abfiltriert,    ausgewaschen  und bei mässiger Temperatur getrocknet.

  The dye formed forms a deep brown colored powder which is very sparingly soluble in water and sodium hydroxide solution; in concentrated sulfuric acid it dissolves with a red-violet color. From the deep brown colored solution in zapon lacquer, brown-black coatings of very good lightfastness are obtained on metal foils.



  <I> Example: </I> 5.97 parts by weight of the dye from dianotized 4-chloro-2-amino-1-phenol and ß-naphthol are boiled in 500 parts of water and mixed with a corresponding amount of 1.2 parts of iron a freshly precipitated and neutral washed ferric hydroxide suspension heated to boiling for some time on the reflux condenser. After cooling, the deposited dye is filtered off, washed and dried at a moderate temperature.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metall haltigen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den Farbstoff aus dianotiertem 4- Chlor-2-amino-l-phenol und i3-Naphtol mit der Suspension einer Verbindung des dreiwertigen Eisens behandelt. Der gebildete Farbstoff bildet ein tiefbraun gefärbtes Pulver, das in Wasser und Natron lauge sehr schwer löslich ist; in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure löst es sich mit rotvioletter Farbe. Aus der tiefbraun gefärbten Lösung in Zaponlack erhält man auf Metallfolien braunschwarze Überzüge von sehr guter Licht echtheit.
