La fig. 1 est une vue de face d'une montre- bracelet à laquelle est appliquée une première forme d'exécution servant à la mise à l'heure; Les fig. 2 à 6 sont .des vues schématiques d'autres formes d'exécution servant également à la mise à l'heure; La fig.7 montre schématiquement une septième forme d'exécution, destinée au re montage;
La fig. 8 est une vue de àce d'une montre.- bracelet à laquelle une autre forme d'exécu- tion du dispositif, servant à la. mise à l'heure, est appliquée; Les fig. 9 et 10 sont des vues de face de montres-bracelets comportant deux formes d'exécuiion .du dispositif pour la mise à l'heure et le remontage;
La tirette 1 :est munie: à l@extérieur de la carrure â d'un bec 5, sur lequel on agit avec l'ongle pour la déplacer :de l'intérieur vers l'extérieur, et est soumise à l'action d'un ressort de rappel6 appuyant sur une goupille 7; elle porte à son autre .extrémité un cliquet 8 à deux dents destiné à venir en prise: .avec une roue den tée 9 sous l'action d'un ressort 10 de la pla- tine 11;
.Si l'on veut mettre la montre à l'heure, on agit au moyen de l'ongle sur le bec 5 de la tirette 1 pour la faire sortir de la. boîte 4. Au début de ce mouvement, le cliquet 8 ab@an- donne la goupille 12 et vient en prise avec la roue 9 sous l'action du ressort 10;
La tirette 1 -de la sixième forme d'exé cution (figA) agit sur un secteur - denté 40 pivotant autour d'un axe fixe 41 et engre nant constamment avec une, roue dentée 42. Celle-ci porte un cliquet 43 en prise avec un rochet 44 solidaire de la roue 9. Lorsqu'on déplace la tirette 1 vers la. droite, la roue 42 tourne dans le sens opposé à celui du mouve ment des aiguilles d'une montre et entraîne le rochet 44 avec la roue 9;
Device for controlling a clockwork movement. The object of the invention is a device for controlling a clockwork movement; this may for example be the winding device or: setting the time of a watch.
It is characterized in that it comprises a movable maneuvering member intended for its actuation, effecting -for this purpose a reciprocating movement and intended to be actuated by hand.
The accompanying drawing represents, to. As examples, several embodiments of the device.
Fig. 1 is a front view of a wristwatch to which is applied a first embodiment serving for setting the time; Figs. 2 to 6 are schematic views of other embodiments also used for setting the time; Fig.7 schematically shows a seventh embodiment, intended for re-assembly;
Fig. 8 is a view from above of a wristwatch to which another embodiment of the device, serving for the. time setting is applied; Figs. 9 and 10 are front views of wristwatches comprising two embodiments .du device for setting the time and winding;
Figs. 11 and 12 are views of a watch having another embodiment which is used for setting the time and of which they represent certain parts at different positions.
The first embodiment comprises a pull tab 1, that is to say a rigid member guided at 2 in the middle part 3 of the case 4 so as to: move longitudinally without transverse movement.
The zipper 1: is provided: on the outside of the caseband â with a spout 5, on which one acts with the fingernail to move it: from the inside to the outside, and is subjected to the action of 'a return spring 6 pressing on a pin 7; it carries at its other end a pawl 8 with two teeth intended to come into engagement: with a star wheel 9 under the action of a spring 10 of the plate 11;
however, this engagement cannot take place when the pull tab 1 occupies the rest position indicated in FIG. 1, because a pin 12 of the plate 11 opposes it. The wheel 9 meshes with a wheel 13 of the axis of the minute hand 14.
The operation of this form of execution is as follows: In the rest position, shown in fig. 1, the pull tab 1 is held inside the box 4 by the spring 6, its beak 5 alone being outside the latter, in the vicinity of one of the handles 15; the pawl 8 is not engaged with the wheel 9; the axis of the minute hand 14 rotates freely.
If you want to set the watch on time, use your fingernail on the spout 5 of the zipper 1 to release it from the. box 4. At the start of this movement, the pawl 8 ab @ an- engages the pin 12 and engages the wheel 9 under the action of the spring 10;
during the continuation of said movement it drags the wheel 9 of the axis of the minute hand for setting the time. If we then give up the zipper 1 to the action (the spring 6, it comes back, the pawl 8 disengages from the wheel 9 on which the teeth of which it slides and the various parts resume the positions of Fig. 1. If by this first operation the hands do not yet assume the desired position, it is repeated until the watch is on time.
According to. fig. 2 ', the, pull tab 1 is guided at 15 so as to be able to perform only longitudinal movements; it is subjected to the action of a return spring 16 and carries a pawl 17 with a tooth engaging with a ratchet 18 integral with the axis of the wheel 9. A spring 19 acts on the pawl 17 which is moved apart of the ratchet 18 by a fixed pin 20 at the rest position of the pull tab 1.
The pull tab 1 in fig. 3 is guided at 15, so as to be able to perform only longitudinal movements; it is connected by an articulation 23 to a rack 21 coming into engagement with the wheel 9 under the action of a spring 22. In the fourth embodiment (FIG. 4), the pull-tab 1 can not only execute longitudinal movements, but still transverse movements of low amplitude. It is provided with a hook 24 by which it acts from left to right on a pin 25 of a toothed sector 26 which has to come into engagement with the wheel 9.
The sector 26 pivots at the free end of an arm 27 rotating around a fixed axis 28. Springs 29, 30 act on the arm 27 and the sector 26 for the latter remains in engagement with the hook 24; the movement of the arm 27 to the right is limited by a fixed pin 31.
When acting on the pull-tab 1 to move it to the right, the assembly formed by the .sector 26 and the arm 27 is rotated around the axis 28 and this sector is thus brought into engagement with the wheel 9 , then the sector 2; 6 is rotated alone, because the pin 31 opposes a subsequent movement of the arm 27 in the same direction: the wheel 9 turns and produces the setting, on time.
According to fig. 5, the zipper 1 has, on the one hand, a rack 3.2 to engage with a toothed pinion 33, on the other hand, a spout 34, acting on a pivoting arm 3.5 carrying the pinion 33 to move it aside. ci de la, rack 32; a res out '3.6 constantly applies the arm 35 against the nose 34. On the pinion axis 33 is a toothed wheel 37 which must come into engagement with the wheel 9.
The operation of this fifth embodiment a. take place as follows: At the rest position shown in 1a fig. 5, the nozzle 34 of the. pull tab 1 keeps pinion 33 away from rack 32 and toothed wheel 37 away from wheel 9.
To set the time, move the, ti rette 1 from left to right. The beak 34 then allows the arm 35 to rotate in the direction of the movement effected by the needles of a watch, which has a double result: the pinion f3 engages with the. rack 32 and wheel 27 with wheel 9; the. time setting occurs. . When the zipper 1 is abandoned, its beak 34 again separates the wheel 37 from the wheel 9 and the pinion 33 of the 1st rack 32.
The zipper 1 -of the sixth embodiment (figA) acts on a toothed sector 40 pivoting about a fixed axis 41 and constantly engages with a toothed wheel 42. The latter carries a pawl 43 in engagement with a ratchet 44 integral with the wheel 9. When moving the pull tab 1 towards the. right, wheel 42 rotates in the opposite direction to that of clockwise movement and drives ratchet 44 with wheel 9;
when this zipper 1 returns to the left, the pawl 43 jumps from tooth to tooth of the ratchet 44 without turning it.
The seventh form of execution (fig. 7) is used to wind the mainspring of the watch. Its zipper 1 is connected for this purpose to. an arm 50 pivoting at 51 and provided with a pawl 5.2 engaged with a ratchet 53 integral with a toothed wheel 54 rotating the barrel, not shown, to which one of the ends .du res exits motor not visible on the. drawing is fixed.
The wristwatch according to fi-. 8 has a circular shape and is provided with two rectangular handles 60. In the interior of one of the handles 60 there is a cross member 61 belonging to the pull tab 1 and having the. form an arc of a circle so as to apply exactly when resting on the. caseband 62, so that it is hardly visible. In the other handle 60 there is an identical part 63 which can be either fixed or mobile and belong to a second pull-tab not shown, serving for example for winding the mainspring.
According to fig. 9, the. circular wristwatch present in the vicinity of each of its two handles 64 two decorative parts 65 and 66, 67 and 68. The two parts 65 @ and 66 are fixed, while the parts 67, 68 are mobile and constitute each the spout of a zipper 69 or 70, one of the zippers belonging to a time-setting device and the other to a winding device.
In the rectangular wristwatch shown in fig. 10, two .d'angle pieces 80, 81 are movable and form the spouts of two zippers 82, 83 belonging to the time-setting and winding devices.
According to fig. 11 and 12 ', the time-setting zipper 90 is provided with a head 91 housed in a chamber 92 of a crown 93 capable of being screwed onto a threaded tube 94 integral with the middle 95; the crown 93 is divided into .two parts not shown in the drawing to allow the introduction of the pull tab and -de the head thereof.
Normally the crown 93 is fully screwed onto the tube 94, the head 91 of the pull tab is located at the top of the chamber 92- and the watch is hermetically sealed in this right. If we want to set the time, we unscrew the crown 93 to separate it from the tube, then we move it from bottom to top and top to bottom, which communicates the necessary movements to the zipper 90. Once the time has been set, crown 93 is screwed in again.
The zipper 1, that is to say the part executing only longitudinal movements or carrying out longitudinal movements accompanied by transverse movements of low amplitude, can be replaced by a part carrying out longitudi- nal movements. oscillation around an axis; this part could be provided with a head moving for example along an arcuate part of the watch.
