Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines braunen     Nüpenfarbstoifes    der     Anthanthronreihe.       Es wurde     gefunden,    däss man echte, leb  haft braun färbende     Küpenfarbstofrfe    er  hält, wenn man     Halogenanthanthrone    mit       1-Amino-.anthrachinon    - 2 -     ald-ehyd    konden  siert.

   Es ist anzunehmen,     dass    in dieser Re  aktion zuerst     Halagenwasserstof    f abgespal  ten wird und die so .erhaltenen     Anthrimide     im weiteren Reaktionsverlauf unter     ZVasser-          abspaltung        und    unter Bildung vorn     Akridin-          ringen    kondensiert werden.  



  Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich nun auf  ein Verfahren zur     Herstellung    des     Küpen-          farbstoffes        ider        wa.hrscheinliehen    Formel:

         ida-durch    gekennzeichnet,     Jass    man     Monobrom-          anthanthron    mit     1-@A,minoanthrachinon-2-a.1-          dehyd.    bei höherer Temperatur zur Um  setzung     bringt.     



  Der neue Farbstoff löst sieh in konzen  trierter Schwefelsäure mit roter Farbe, in  heissem     Nitrobenzal    oder     Trichlorbenzol    mit       gelbbrauner    Farbe und kristallisiert aus  letzteren Lösungsmitteln beim Erkalten in  braunen,' oft     zuSternchenangeordneten     Stäbchen ,aus. Er     färbt    Baumwolle aus rot  violetter     Hyd@rosul.fitküpe    in ebensolcher  Farbe an, welche     .beim    Seifen in ein leb  haftes,     rotstiehiges    Gelbbraun von sehr gu  ter Echtheit übergeht.

           Beispiel:     3,85 Teile     Monobrom-a.nthanthron    (siehe       Schweizerisches    Patent     Nr:    130617) .und 2,5  Teile     1-Aminoanthrachinon-2-aldehyd    wer  den in 100 Teilen     Nitrobenzol    unter Zusatz  von 2     Teilen        wasserifreiem        Natriumacetat         und einer geringen Menge     Kupfer    oder  Kupfersalz als Katalysator einige Stunden  unter Rühren zum Sieden erhitzt.

   Nach .dem  Erkalten     wird    das in braunen Kristallen aus  geschiedene Reaktionsprodukt abgesaugt, auf  die     übliehe    Weise von     anhaftendem    Lö  sungsmittel und Salzen     befreit    und ge  trocknet.



  Process for the production of a brown nub dye of the anthanthron series. It has been found that real vat dyes with a vivid brown color are obtained if halanthanthrones are condensed with 1-amino-anthraquinone-2-aldehyde.

   It can be assumed that in this reaction hydrogen halide is first split off and the anthrimides thus obtained are condensed in the further course of the reaction with elimination of water and formation of acridine rings.



  The present patent now relates to a process for the production of the vat dye with the formula:

         ida-characterized by, Jass one monobromo anthanthrone with 1- @ A, minoanthraquinone-2-a.1-dehyd. at a higher temperature to implement.



  The new dye dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a red color, in hot nitrobenzal or trichlorobenzene with a yellow-brown color, and crystallizes from the latter solvents on cooling in brown rods, often arranged in asterisks. He dyes cotton from red-violet Hyd@rosul.fitküpe in the same color, which turns into a lively, reddish yellow-brown of very good authenticity when soaping.

           Example: 3.85 parts of monobromo-a.nthanthrone (see Swiss Patent No: 130617) and 2.5 parts of 1-aminoanthraquinone-2-aldehyde are added to 100 parts of nitrobenzene with 2 parts of anhydrous sodium acetate and a small amount of copper or copper salt as a catalyst heated to boiling for a few hours with stirring.

   After cooling, the reaction product, which has separated out in brown crystals, is filtered off with suction, freed from adhering solvents and salts in the usual way and dried.

PATENT CLAIM: A process for the production of a vat dye, characterized in that mono-bromine:

anth.anthron with 1-amin.o-a, nthraquinone-2 = al @ dehydration at higher temperatures. The new dye dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a red color, in hot nitrobenzene or trichlorobenzene with a yellow-brown color and crystallizes from the latter solvents when it cools in brown rods, often arranged in asterisks.

He dyes cotton from a red-violet hydrosulfite vat in the same color, which turns into a lively, red-tinged yellow-brown of very good authenticity when soapy.
