Abb. 1 ist eine Seitenansicht eines Giess iverkes, bei dem der Antrieb der Giessschale und des die Metallentnali,me regelnden Or- ganes von einem grossen Rad aus erfolgt;
Drive device on automatic machines for pouring stereotype plates. To drive automatic machines for casting stereotype plates, it has already been proposed to close the casting mold quickly and open it more slowly,
in order to detach the die when the mold is opened from the freshly cast plate without the risk of tearing and nevertheless not to lengthen the total time of both movements.
In the device according to the invention, the mold is moved by means of elliptical wheels, the angular position of which on their shafts is selected so that the mold in the last part of the closing movement is moved in the first part of the opening movement moves slower.
On the drawing, the subject of the invention is illustrated in two embodiments, for example.
1 is a side view of a casting machine in which the casting tray and the organ regulating the metal parts are driven by a large wheel;
Fig. 2 is a schematic top view of the drive parts according to Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a top view of the second embodiment of the drive device, and Fig. 4 is a section along AB, and Fig. 5 is a section along CD in Fig 3.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. F and 2 in the initial position, ie with the mold open and closed metal outlet, the motor 1 drives the screw 3 through the clutch 2, which can be switched by hand or foot. This turns the big one Gear 4 through the intermediary of a worm gear 5 and gear 6.
A toothed arch 7 on the Ra, de 4 is already in engagement at the beginning of the movement with the gearwheel SS, the rotary movement of which is transmitted by elliptical gears 9, 10 to a shaft 11, which the casting tray 12 in a known manner by a crank and Connecting rod moved up in guide 13. With the further rotation of the wheel 4, the toothed arch 14 rotates the gear 15, which opens a cock or other organ regulating the flow of metal into the casting mold.
The casting process lasts until a third Zaliiibogen 16, which lies on your wheel 4 to the side of the wheel 8, has made a full turn and turned the gear 15 to close the cock kick or the like. Immediately thereafter, the toothed arch 7 comes into engagement again with the gear 8 and opens the casting mold. As soon as this has happened, the clutch 2 is released in a known manner, so that the wheel 1 comes to a standstill.
By Geneva locking washers 17, 18, which rub on a rim of the wheel 4. the gears 8 and 15 are secured in the R.uliestel- positions in a known manner.
Starting from the position of the parts shown in Fig. 1, in which the largest radius of the elliptical wheel 9 lies opposite the smallest radius of the elliptical wheel 10, the shaft 11 is driven by the ring gear 7, the gear wheel 8 and the two ellipsoidal wheels 9 , 10 at first quickly, but gradually rotates more and more slowly during the further rotation of the elliptical gears to the completion of <B> 180 '</B>.
As a result, the shell 12, which is moved from the shaft 11 by known means, is raised first quickly and then at a gradually decreasing speed from the lowest or open position to an uppermost or closed position, so that the mold can be closed without jolting .he follows.
As soon as after completion of the Giessvorgan ges and the reclosing of the key, the ring gear 7 comes into engagement again with the gear wheel 8 in the last part of the one-nali.gen revolution of the wheel 4, the shaft 11 is initially slow through the elliptical wheels 9, 10 , but then turned faster and faster, so that the first part of the opening movement of the shell is slower and therefore the separation of the mold from the newly cast plate is gentle.
In the drive according to FIGS. 3 to 5, the worm wheel 20, which is loosely seated on the shaft 19, is rotated by a motor through a worm. Both the two-gear wheel 22 and the coupling sleeve 23 also rotate loosely on the shaft 19 with the worm gear rl.
When engaging a clutch that brings the motor with the worm in connection, a gear 21 wedged on the shaft 19 is already opposite the center of the teeth of a gear 2-1 with interrupted teeth, which is firmly seated on a shaft 25; Furthermore: the coupling 23 is connected to the elliptical wheel 26 loosely seated on the shaft 19.
As a result, the rotation of the worm wheel 20 is transmitted through the coupling sleeve 23 to the Ellipsenra.d 26, which rotates the elliptical wheel? 7, which is fixed on the shaft 25 and which, through the shaft 25, is known to be the terminating orga.n for the molten metal ter way opens.
At the same time, the gear 24 with interrupted toothing, which is firmly seated on the shaft 25, rotates the gear 21 and therefore also the shaft 1.9 with distribution relative to the shaft 25, where it is quickly closed by the mold and brought into the C-riess position before the closing organ moved by the Urelle 25 is fully open.
The toothless part of the wheel 24 then ensures that the wheel 21 ceases to move further, while the elliptical wheel continues to rotate, i.e. the elliptical wheel 27 continues to rotate. until the turned by the two gear 22 and gear 28 curve 29 duroli the lever 30 disengages the clutch 23, which happens just at the time ge when .das Absahlussorgan is fully open.
The closure member and the mold remain in this position until the fish-cast plate has solidified. During this cooling time of the plate, the two-gear 22 shifts the gear 28 more slowly until the curve 29, the hitch be 23 engages again. Then the final org. Is closed again by the rotation of the shaft 25 through the elliptical gears 26, 27 and the mold is opened by the rotation of the shaft 1.9 through the gear 24 with interrupted teeth and the gear 21.
At this moment the coupling between the motor and the worm is disengaged in the usual way so that the entire drive comes to a standstill.
In the casting position, the shafts 19 and 25 are secured in the correct angular position to one another by Geneva disks 31, 32, as is customary in machines of this type.
Also, the curve 29 is held between the switching movements by the two-gear wheel 22 and gear wheel 28 in a known manner by a pawl 33 which engages in a .Sperrad. \ -; 4 and only recedes when cutouts 36 at one with the Schrreckenra. cl 20 rotating disc 35 Gien allow the necessary leeway.
Also in this embodiment according to A bb. 3 to 5, in the illustrated starting position of the parts (i.e. with the casting mold open and the closing element closed), the largest radius of the elliptical wheel 26 is located compared to the smallest radius of the elliptical outer wheel 27. As a result, the shafts 25 are first and 19 moved quickly, but then progressively slower and slower until they come to a standstill after completion of 180 ". The casting mold moved by the shaft 19 is therefore closed without a jolt.
As soon as the coupling sleeve 23 sets the elliptical wheel '-) 6 in motion again through the cooperation of the wheels 22 and 28, the casting mold is slowly opened by the elliptical wheels? 6, 27 and then moved faster and faster until the parts in the figure shown in Fig. 3 to 5 position shown by disengaging the motor in a known manner to a standstill ge -br, eight.
