Description

  

      Verfahren    zur Darstellung einer     cyclischen    Verbindung.    Gegenstand dieser Erfindung ist ein Ver  fahren zur Darstellung einer     cyclischen    Ver  bindung, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist,       dass    man Naphtalin und     Bernsteinsäureanhydrid     unter Zuhilfenahme von     Aluininiuinchlorid     kondensiert.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  In eine Auflösung von 129 Gewichtsteilen  Naphtalin und 110 Gewichtsteilen Bernstein  säureanhydrid in 1000 Gewichtsteilen wasser  freiem Nitrobenzol werden bei unter 10   C       portionsweise    270 Gewichtsteile Aluminium  chlorid eingetragen und 24 Stunden bei dieser  Temperatur verrührt. Nach Zersetzen der     Ni-          trobenzollösung    mit Wasser und verdünnter  Salzsäure destilliert man das Nitrobenzol mit  Wasserdampf ab, nimmt den     Destillations-          rückstand    mit     Sodalösung    auf, filtriert und  fällt aus dem Filtrat die entstandene     Keto-          carbonsäure    mit verdünnter Salzsäure aus.

    Durch     Umkristallisieren    aus organischen Lö-         sungsmitteln,    zum Beispiel Sprit, lassen sich  farblose Nadeln isolieren, die bei 132       schmelzen.     Verschmilzt man diese Säure etwa 40 Minuten  mit der vierfachen Gewichtsmenge Aluminium  chlorid     oderNatrium-Aluminiumchlorid    bei 150  bis 160  , so erhält man nach dem Aufarbeiten  der Schmelze eine Ringverbindung, die aus ver  dünntem Sprit umkristallisiert bei gegen<B>1651</B>  schmilzt. Die so erhaltene     cyclische    Verbin  dung dient als wertvolles Ausgangsprodukt  zur Darstellung von Farbstoffen und     Farb-          stoffzwischenverbindungen.     



  Natürlich gelingt die Darstellung dieser  Ringverbindung auch in einer Operation     \durch     geeignetes Verschmelzen beider Komponenten  mit zum Beispiel     Natrium-Aluniiniumchlorid,     analog den Angaben in Beispiel 1 des Zusatz  patentes Nr. 130611.

Claims (1)

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung einer cyclischen Verbindung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Naphtalin und ternsteinsäureanhydrid unter Zuhilfenahme von Aluminiumchlorid konden siert. Die Ringverbindung schmilzt bei gegen 165 und löst sich in concentrierter Schwefel säure mit grünlicher Fluorescenz. UNTERANSPRUCH: Verfahren nach Patentanspruch dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kondensation bei An- wesenlieit eines Lösungsmittels erfolgt und das entstehende Zwischenprodukt isoliert und unter Zuhilfenahme von Aluminiumchlorid weiter kondensiert wird.
