Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung von     Bis-Aminophenylanthron.       Gemäss dem Verfahren der vorliegenden       Erfindung    wird aus     Antrachinon    und Salzen  des Anilins eine neue Verbindung erhalten,  das     Bis-Aminophenylanthron,    welchem fol  gende Formel beizulegen ist

    Das     Bis-Aminophenylanthron    kann als  Ausgangsmaterial zur Herstellung von Farb  stoffen verschiedener Gruppen Verwendung  finden.  



       Beispiel:     Ein Gemenge von 200 Gewichtsteilen       Anthrachinon,    500 Gewichtsteilen salzsaurem  Anilin und 1000 Gewichtsteilen Anilin wird  in einem Kessel unter Rühren etwa 2-3  Stunden auf<B>1800</B>     Ölbadtemperatur    erhitzt.  Das Reaktionsprodukt wird mit Alkali über  sättigt und durch     Wasserdampfdestillation     von überschüssigem Anilin befreit. Der Rück-    stand wird in verdünnter Salzsäure gelöst,  vom unveränderten     Anthrachinon        abfiltriert,     mit Alkali gefällt und nach dem Trocknen  aus siedendem Nitrobenzol umkristallisiert.  



  Das     Bis-Aminophenylanthron    stellt ein  graugrünes, bei 298   C schmelzendes Kristall  pulver dar, welches die Neigung zeigt, sich  an der Luft     grünlichblau    zu färben. Es ist  unlöslich in Wasser und in den gebräuch  lichen     niedrigsiedenden    Lösungsmitteln, reich  lich löslich in siedendem     Xylol    und Nitro  benzol. Es löst sich leicht in verdünnten Mi  neralsäuren farblos auf; auch diese Lösungen  zeigen die Neigung, sich an der Luft blau  grün zu färben.  



  In obigem Beispiel können die Gewichts  verhältnisse in weiten Grenzen verändert  werden ; an Stelle der salzsauren Anilin  basen können Salze anderer Mineralsäuren  verwendet werden.

The residue is dissolved in dilute hydrochloric acid, the unchanged anthraquinone is filtered off, precipitated with alkali and, after drying, recrystallized from boiling nitrobenzene.



  The bis-aminophenylanthrone is a gray-green crystal powder that melts at 298 C and tends to turn greenish-blue in air. It is insoluble in water and in the common low-boiling solvents, richly soluble in boiling xylene and nitrobenzene. It easily dissolves colorless in dilute mineral acids; These solutions also show a tendency to turn blue-green in air.



  In the above example, the weight ratios can be changed within wide limits; Instead of the hydrochloric aniline bases, salts of other mineral acids can be used.
